Bought this phone on the release day and it has more than 4 years of daily use.
The phone it's still working without any lag and could move any app i wanted to install without problems.
The only "problem" I've noticed its the battery that lasts less, but after 4 years it's absolutley normal.
I don't remember any phone that performed better than this one.

Dad recently upgraded to OP9 which means I get his 5T and this thing is the closest I have held to perfection in my hand. The camera is a bit dated for 2021 standards but other than that this is the perfect phone. The 3300 mAh battery lasts just enough for me to daily drive it. Better than any budget 2021 phones I had the option to buy.

I'm still using my 5t since 2018. Still in good shape and lag free. The only drawback is that I have the 6/64 gb variant and need to change my device.

Glad to know that there are so many people who share the same situation as me. Cannot find any appropriate reason to upgrade to a new phone. Best buy ever

still a great phone even now - jailbroken and running lineage 18.1 (android 11), it rocks
i bought new old stock of the 8gb/128gb model very recently and have no complaints whatsoever

I have been trying to find an excuse to change from 5T to a newer phone, but honestly can't find any. 5T might be the best buy ever, still working neatly.
I think I'm going to stick with this 'till the end.

The camera in OS 10 automatically zooms in 2x each time it is used. So I downgrade to OS 9 which is overall more comfortable.
