    Past few weeks after last update of my oppo f7 model, in phone manager settings option is missing. It's not there. Without that option visus checking can't happen?? I'm in a pathetic situation need some useful remedy for that. Kindly help me through this. I'm waiting for a better solution from you. Thank you.

        I am using OPPO F7 for 2 years, its been very okay so far. I will play PUBG and King of Honor as well but mostly spend time on YouTube, so I just need to charge my Oppo F7 for 1-2 times per day with average of 10 hours use time on phone daily.

        However, after I update to COLOROS 7.1, Android 10, everything become worse. Battery consumption is horrible which I didn't play much game now. I just watch Youtube now with same 10 hours use time daily but I have to charge my phone 3-5 times per day. I having MCO right now, so I just staying at home, can't imagine when I go out using this phone, how am I gonna survive with this terrible battery usage.

        It is more laggy after this update, even when I switch on my screen, the screen start with black screen few seconds first then only proceed to the lockscreen or even I unlock with fingerprint it also take me few seconds… My ram is around 1.2gb left normally now, when an app is opened it just left less than 1gb for sure.

        Haih OPPO F7 is good overall just this update make my phone shit……

        If another update can solved my problem, it would be better but I don't think any update can help in battery consumption problem…

          Two days back received the third OTA update after recent major Android 10 update.

          Details of the recent update:
          1) Improved network quality during phone calls for better user experience.
          2) Fixed a security issue where the phone would occasionally not power on and improved system stability.
          3) Added the August 2020 Android security patches.

                  Few days back after updating my oppo f7 baseband version becomes unknown and imei null. Any solution for that.

                    Details of the recent update:
                    1) Fixed WiFi network and personal hotspot connection issues.
                    2) Improved system stability.

                            MonsterR, 26 Jul 2020Why hard reset when it automatically adapts all the feature... moreGenerally I have seen after major software updates like Android version upgrades or MR releases a hard factory reset works like a charm. It makes the phone slightly faster from get go and sometimes battery consumption is less after reset.

                            I had faced certain issues with other phones like Vivo V5Plus which gave me inconsistent notification tones for SMS messages. It happened during Android 6 to 7 upgrade. I did many things nothing happened. Later I performed a hard factory reset and observed the notification issue is gone and battery backup have slightly improved!!!

                            Learned the hard way and from then after each major software upgrade, I perform hard factory reset. In this way I do not face 9 out of 10 issues after upgrade that others complain like hanging, slow and high battery consumption!!!

And at last check your mobile charger also...the cable and the adaptor as well. And also try to cross check i mean another adaptor and another cable...and another cable and another adaptor. You'll know the fix by yourself after doing these sequences. Have a nice time ahead.

                                  The first update was good of color os7 and Android 10 but after few days another update of color os 7.1 that promises some fixes that made me sad... Cuzz some features got removed after second update. Everything else is just quite fine. And heytap cloud feature is cool but if you keep your data connection enabled all the time it will consume your all of your mobile data just because it regularly syncs in the background, it took me 2 days to understand that where is my all the mobile data is going even I'm not using A MB by myself...i hope it should be fixed soon or it is better to turn off cloud services as auto mode... manually you can use this literally just as it works and i found it better for me.

                                    Things I love about new ColorOS 7.1 on Oppo F7:

                                    1) Refined, classy and snappy UI. My phone has got a new lease of life for next 2 years.
                                    2) Superb battery endurance. Battery backup has improved noticeably over Android 9.
                                    3) Much improved Camera app with sleek UI and much better computational photography algorithms resulting in better pictures.
                                    4) System-wide dark mode.

                                    Don't forget to perform hard factory reset on the phone after the major Android 9 to Android 10 update.
