Does the 8 + 256gb variant have LPDDR4 or LPDDR5 ram, I know that the 12 + 256gb is equipped with LPDDR5 but I don't need that excess ram. As this is the only variant available that I could go for 5-8 years until my next phone purchase as I am still using a Samsung A5 (2017) 6 years strong but is quite weak for today's standard but still capable to daily task.

Hi guys, how do you find the screen max brightness level in direct sunlight? I'm worried is not bright enough and I will struggle to see the screen on those conditions. This is more important to me than resolution or refresh rate.

Or you could go for the Vivo x60 pro Gimbal version if u want a great Camera. Or if you really don't care about pricing and need a good phone. Go for the Samsung S22 Ultra that'll be releasing soon

I don't know if you prefer bigger screens (Mi 11 - 6.81") but there is not MUCH difference in dimensions so it shouldn't be a problem (Mi 11 has better screen protection). The overall performances should be almost the same (depends on more fluid UI). Cameras are obviously better in Mi 11. I think Realme has better battery life, but not significant. Updates on Xiaomi last for two years (it used to be 3-4😢), I'm bot sure about Redmi (it's probably 2-3 years; of course, after launching). In my opinion, you should choose Mi 11.

Before I use POCO F2 Pro and 5G working perfectly.

I bought this smartphone, super responsive BUT 5G does not workin Iceland!!! Realme's support is terrible, they haven't answered what's going on for a WEEK. I am banging on this support all the time.
My network supplier says that I need to turn on 5G on the phone or the manufacturer somehow.
My previous Xiaomi F2 Pro flashed fantastically on 5G.
Has anyone had a similar problem in another country?

GREAT, FAST "eights" of 888 / 8 - WOW. Works great on T-Mobile 5G in the US, but you need to force 5G with an app (no root required) FASTEST FONE I ever saw. Rock solid and flawless, excellent camera.

To review this kind of smartphone, got to have the right mindset.
This is one of the flagship killer smartphone, and this is a trend started by China smartphone company. This have to go back to smartphone brand such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Oneplus, Vivo, Huawei, Honor, Meizu, ZTE, maybe ASUS. These brand aim to bring high end smartphone feature to smartphone that cost up to 1/3 or 1/2 of famous flagship for comparable specs.
Of course, since this already happen for so long, we know that those flagship killer does have compromise on some aspect that make them not as premium or not as a direct flagship model.
So, if you are coming from these flagship killer user, you will like this smartphone from Realme, which is a regular flagship killer from BBK camp, since OPPO and Oneplus are already become premium expensive brand. So, expected cut corners here and there from a flagship killer.
If you are coming from a true premium flagship smartphone, you might nitpick on it's cut corners. Overall, at this price point, depend on regions, the competitor is among the Chinese brand themself, particularly from Xiaomi/POCO/Redmi, and Vivo iQoo, maybe ASUS from some region. At least at my region, I can choose POCO F3, ASUS Zenfone 8/Zenfone 8 Flip, Xiaomi Mi11, Realme X7 Pro, Oneplus 9. All fall around this price group with POCO F3 and Realme X7 Pro have different lower end SoC, and cheapest is from Poco F3 after huge discount, and ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip pricing almost neck to neck, then most expensive is Oneplus 9. The party is getting more crowded, and all can't go wrong with these smartphone that intend to be flagship killer.
