GREAT, FAST "eights" of 888 / 8 - WOW. Works great on T-Mobile 5G in the US, but you need to force 5G with an app (no root required) FASTEST FONE I ever saw. Rock solid and flawless, excellent camera.

To review this kind of smartphone, got to have the right mindset.
This is one of the flagship killer smartphone, and this is a trend started by China smartphone company. This have to go back to smartphone brand such as Xiaomi, OPPO, Oneplus, Vivo, Huawei, Honor, Meizu, ZTE, maybe ASUS. These brand aim to bring high end smartphone feature to smartphone that cost up to 1/3 or 1/2 of famous flagship for comparable specs.
Of course, since this already happen for so long, we know that those flagship killer does have compromise on some aspect that make them not as premium or not as a direct flagship model.
So, if you are coming from these flagship killer user, you will like this smartphone from Realme, which is a regular flagship killer from BBK camp, since OPPO and Oneplus are already become premium expensive brand. So, expected cut corners here and there from a flagship killer.
If you are coming from a true premium flagship smartphone, you might nitpick on it's cut corners. Overall, at this price point, depend on regions, the competitor is among the Chinese brand themself, particularly from Xiaomi/POCO/Redmi, and Vivo iQoo, maybe ASUS from some region. At least at my region, I can choose POCO F3, ASUS Zenfone 8/Zenfone 8 Flip, Xiaomi Mi11, Realme X7 Pro, Oneplus 9. All fall around this price group with POCO F3 and Realme X7 Pro have different lower end SoC, and cheapest is from Poco F3 after huge discount, and ASUS Zenfone 8 Flip pricing almost neck to neck, then most expensive is Oneplus 9. The party is getting more crowded, and all can't go wrong with these smartphone that intend to be flagship killer.

binesh, 07 Sep 2021in heard realme gt has overheating issues :(All SD888 smartphone all share the same characteristic, will overheat if playing heavy games, benchmark on Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3 if set all the graphic setting to max.
Else, if played lower graphic game, such as Asphalt 8/9, then there is no serious heating.
On standby, simple social media usage, chatting, the smartphone is pretty cool.

Guys, does my oneplus 30W warp charger(I have car version too, also 30W) work the same on this device(Realme GT) ? I've heard somewhere that Warpchargers are working the same on OnePlus, OPPO and Realme.

It is a Global Version and ... moreIn order to get 5g to work, the network (t-mobile, at&t, etc....) must be using 5g bands that this phone supports. This phone won't work properly for 5g in the states because its not quite designed for the states. Not really good 5g band support. However my 4g LTE on this phone has been excellent, really fast data speeds, calls were fine, texts were fine, everything seems to be working on 4g but no 5g for me either, so I think it really depends on your specific area in the states. I'm using T-Mobile.

It is a Global Version and ... moreI very much agree with you I have the version rmx2202 and it is a super fast tel but here in the united states does not have good coverage I use tmobile and I am in pennsylvania and I have a super bad signal I have never seen the 5g on I have 2 simcard of tmobile and mre I stay in H when I go by the carr 22 and when I make a call I run out of data also this cel does not serve for united states neither the global version I have realized that realme does not care about the American market they know of this problem and do not fix it I have had 2 realme and the 2 give this same problem

I recently purchased Realme GT. It is a Global Version and I am in the USA. The phone is great but, I have an issue with 5G. It does not work with At&T network. I went to T-Mobile and ask them to help and we inserted a T-mobile sim card and again nothing, only 4G LTE. Does anyone have the same issue? Does this phone work with the USA 5G network?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
