Oberon, 24 Dec 2021Realme still doesn't have any phone in their entire li... more+1.

However I believe Realme GT Explorer Master has what it takes to be the true successor of X2 Pro. Unfortunately this model will not be launched in India. So you are right in pointing out X2 Pro have no successor in the entire Realme portfolio at least in my country. Hope this changes soon.

Realme still doesn't have any phone in their entire line-up which can be called a successor of Realme X2 Pro. I'm waiting for the upcoming 2022 phones till then I'll use my X2 pro. Unmatched build quality, speakers, charging and has 3.5mm jack.

Anjan, 31 Oct 2021Is it worth to buy this phone now at 22000 Indian rupees?? ... moreDevice is great. Don't buy it for more than 20000 and go for the 8/128 gb variant. I'm using it for last 2 years, battery backup is good, still getting about 5-6 hours of SOT (i don't play games regularly). Sound quality via speakers is great, loud, punchy and has bass, via bluetooth headphone you can tweak it using Dolby Atmos. Camera is good for the most part, average low light and indoor performance, ultrawide is good only in well lit scenario. Overall, even in 2021 it worth 20000 for 8/128 variant.

NikiDroid, 03 Dec 2021I don't think this phone will get Android 12.Same here.

BBK Electronics generally follow a 2 Android update and 3 years of security patch update cycle. OnePlus is the only exception, but they charge more premium for this additional software support.

Realme X2 Pro arrived with Android 9 and is now running Android 11. I expect security patch updates from now onwards till Sep, 2022. What ever be the case this phone is still the best phone to ever adorn the Realme tag, because it just a rebranded OnePlus 7T model.

While my Realme X7 Max have slightly more processing power it desperately lacks the flagship built quality of X2 Pro. Realme X50 Pro is just a pass on for me, it was a lost cost model specifically built in two variants: X50 Pro & iQOO 3. I have the latter and while a good phone, nothing in it stands out.

In my experience, Realme X2 Pro is best phone in comparison to iQOO 3 & Realme X7Max.

Same goes for its sub-brands Realme, OnePlus & Narzo. I am just thankful they were kind enough to at-least included an audio jack in Realme X2 Pro.

Smartphones have pretty much taken over as the primary source of music for most people and smartphone manufacturers took this opportunity to kill the wired audio market so they could sell overpriced, mediocre wireless garbage to consumers.

So If you want audio quality & headphone jack in a smartphone look for an used LG G8X, LG V40, LG V30+, LG G7 (alas, LG is out of smartphone business) and that QuadDAC is simply awesome. Next are Vivo top-tier flagships like Vivo NEX S, audio quality is as sublime as LG flagships.

Regarding cameras, I will say it comes with quite capable cameras for INR 22.85K ($313, 264 euros) price I paid for the 12/256 GB variant. Yes the Redmi Note 10 Pro is slightly better in this area and its macro is awesome but other than this the photos that came out of X2 Pro are quite good. No complains here. If you want camera performance get the Samsung S20 FE 5G with a substantial increase in budget.

Anjan, 31 Oct 2021Is it worth to buy this phone now at 22000 Indian rupees?? ... moreFor INR 22.85K ($313, 264 euros) I paid for Realme X2 Pro with 12/256 GB memory configuration on Amazon India , YES it is still worth the buy.

Even in 2021, any latest mid-ranger phone for the same price will be unable to match the performance, display quality & overall flagship build of this two year old flagship.

As on 1st Oct, 2021 received an OTA update which provided security patch updates, bug fixes over Android 11 and increasing system stability. It had a size of 910MB which is big for by-monthly updates.

                              Change Log:

                              1) Updated Android security patch from July, 2021 to Sep, 2021
                              2) Fixed the problem of ‘Raise to Wake’ function not working in some scenarios
                              3) Fixed the problem that the album crashes when sharing pictures in the album with a low probability
                              4) Fixed the problem that the weather application does not locate automatically with a low probability

                              After update:

                              Realme UI Version: V2.0
                              Android Version: 11
Android Security Patch: 5th Sep, 2021
                              Build Number: RMX1931EX_11_F.13

I found no new features introduced after the update, but yeah the weather application issue is resolved. Over all very satisfied with the phone hope Realme at least provide security patch updates till Sep, 2022.

PH Tech 101, 12 Jan 2020Finally get rid of X2 Pro and now i am using Oneplus 7T. He... moreSame for me bro. Comparing Realme X2 Pro and OnePlus 7T, Realme is the clear winner. X2 Pro is the 7T killer. I love the fact its comes with a proper 3.5mm audio jack.

Anonymous, 21 Nov 2019You can't be more wrong. Realme x2pro is giving a lot mora ... moreVery well said.

I own Realme X2 Pro and have used by brother's Oneplus 7T. I choose X2 Pro over 7T any day. Both phones are slightly modified versions of the same base (Oppo Reno Ace). Price difference is secondary to me, but the inclusion of an audio jack (I hate crappy TWS, as I love audio quality), bigger battery are very important to me. The GOD awesome battery charging speed in X2Pro may become handy sometimes.

Standing in 2021, be it Oppo, OnePlus or Realme all uses slight variations of Oppo's ColorOS. The rich set of additional features provided by ColorOS sure comes with an operational overhead. But in front of flagship processors like Snapdragon 855+ and a sea of 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM not to mention 256 GB of fast UFS 3.0 storage, the operational lag if any does not stand a chance. Instead @ 90Hz display the UI is ultra fast and liquid smooth.

Loving every bit while using my X2 Pro.

                                    1) Flagship grade high quality craftsmanship, premium glass aluminum build. The ceramic white back glass looks stunning with sand-blasted aluminum frame.

                                    2) Sturdy build with aluminum frame, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 front a rear. Even the vertically stacked quad-lens camera setup at the back is protected by a even harder sapphire glass and is placed inside an aluminum alloy rear camera frame. Unheard in this price range.

                                    3) More square-ish design which I personally prefer more in the sea of ever so rounded cornered phones.

                                    4) Updated to latest Realme 2.0 UI over Android 11 with July,2021 security patch. Clean UI experience, however you need to know how to setup this phone, all ads if any can be avoided. Will receive bi-monthly security patches from here on till Sep, 2022.

                                    5) Awesome Samsung E3 AMOLED display, very bright, 90 Hz refresh rate with DC Dimming. Widevine L1 support so Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hotstar will run in full-HD.

                                    6) Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC paired with 12 GB LPDDR4X RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.0 storage. There is not any app I can find that can even stress this powerhouse. UI @ 90Hz is liquid smooth.

                                    7) Realme got the basics right with X2 Pro. Great call quality & reception. The flagship grade 4X4 MIMO antenna helps a lot and the calls are loud and clear.

                                    8) The main rear camera is a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW1 sensor which takes very good pictures and shoots quality videos. Of-course the OnePlus 7T is slightly better in terms of picture quality but then it is significantly higher priced. And the X2 Pro selfie shooter seems to be even better than the 7T. All in all very satisfied with the camera performance for the price I paid as the pictures are definitely better than Realme X50 Pro and iQOO 3 available for same price with much lower memory configurations.

                                    9) Great sounding stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, one of the loudest. Right up there with by Meizu 16th & LG G8X. Very good stereo multimedia experience.

                                    10) Flagships with 3.5 audio jack are rarity these days. In India, only Realme X2 Pro, Asus ROG Phone II & Nubia Redmagic 3S came adorned with an audio jack while sporting Snapdragon 855+ at the helm. Sound quality in OK, not on the level of my Meizu 16th leave alone a LG G8X or a Vivo NEX. But still at-least I can plug in a wired headphone and avoid those crappy low quality TWS. Wired audio is still the king when it comes to audio quality.

                                    11) On charging speeds, this phone is a rocket. 0 to 100% in 30 mins flat. The phone heats up considerably with the supplied 50 watts (10V, 5A) SuperVOOC charger. The phone have a 4,000 mAh total battery capacity with dual 2000 mAh battery setup each getting a 25 watts peak input for charging. I am not a worshiper of fast charging and no mater what gizmo tech you use, lithium ion batteries do not like to charge fast and as a result looses longevity & capacity. So I use a simple 10 watts (5V, 2A) charger which results in meager 5 watts per 2000 mAh battery. Still with just 10 watts power the phone charges from 25% to 80% in just an hour. Enough for my needs.

                                    12) With the meager INR 22.85K ($313, 264 euros) I paid on Amazon for the top-of-the-line 12/256 GB memory configuration just no complaints. And this price for a brand new unit after discounts without exchange. I rate this phone even higher than my iQOO 3 and my friends Realme X50 Pro. I have used all three and this phone is a true OnePlus 7T killer of its day. Even in 2021 this phone is a great buy.

some random dude, 07 Dec 2020I think updates would improve battery life and also try not... morePhew!!! Yesterday received my Realme X2 Pro and had to perform almost 11 GB of software updates. This phone was launched way back on 20th Nov, 2019 in India. The 12/256 GB memory configuration was launched at a very aggressive price of just INR 34K ($462, 392 euros) and went up to INR 36K after initial launch period.

Mind you Oppo first designed the Reno Ace, and then the same phone was used by its sub-brands as Realme X2 Pro and Oneplus 7T with minor changes in hardware specifications according to market needs. I never expected the price of X2 Pro with 12 GB RAM to go below INR 30K, but fortunately two years down the line the same phone was selling for INR 22.85K ($313, 264 euros) on Amazon, brand new after discounts without exchange. I picked one at a heartbeat.

I am impressed with the phone, its looks, build quality & craftsmanship. It is of Oneplus level eyes closed with an in-hand feel near identical to 7T. Realme X2 Pro is widely regarded as the best phone to adorn Realme tag and I can confirm after using my friend's Realme X50 Pro for few days. I hate X50 Pro's dual punch-hole display and lack of audio jack and the phone feels very stubby just like my iQOO 3. But then iQOO 3 & X50 Pro are the same phone under BBK Electronics. My X2 Pro belongs to Nov, 2019 production batch, so have been sleeping for almost 2 years now.

                                      Below are the phone details:

                                      Name: Realme X2 Pro
                                      Model: RMX1931
                                      Memory Configuration: 12/256 GB
                                      Color: Lunar White

The phone came factory installed with below software version:

                                      ColorOS Version: V6.1
                                      Android Version: 9

In 1st OTA update received 3 months of security patches and some additional features. After update:

                                      Size: 644 MB
                                      ColorOS Version: V6.1
                                      Android Version: 9

Then on 2nd OTA update received Realme UI 1.0 over Android 10. After update:

                                      Size: 2.91 GB
                                      Realme UI Version: V1.0

                                      Build Number: RMX1931EX_11_C.26

The 3rd OTA update mainly consisted of 14 months of security patch updates, bug fixes over Android 10 and increasing system stability. After update:

                                      Size: 3.08 GB
                                      Realme UI Version: V1.0
                                      Android Version: 10
Android Security Patch: 5th Jun, 2021
                                      Build Number: RMX1931EX_11_C.38

With 4th OTA update received Realme UI 2.0 over Android 11. After update:

                                      Size: 3.34 GB

                                      Build Number: RMX1931EX_11_F.11

Finally the 5th OTA update provided security patch updates, bug fixes over Android 11 and increasing system stability. After update:

                                      Size: 710 MB
