On the photo of the car park, look at the dark blue car in the background. The difference is amazing. On the Nokia and Sony photos it's blurry and you can't tell there's a fence in front of it. The Samsung's photo is so much clearer. Looks like the others try to compensate with clever software.
Just made a snap decision to get a Samsung and wow am I happy :o)

no you want best picture and video, then go to samsung d900, because gsm.com does not everything, because they do not makin any difference about the camera, Absolutley, D800 is the best, compare it to the real owining cellphone in the industy./

nokia and samsung is far behind, nokia will allways try 2 catch up with se but never will,i bet if the n95 gets launched even the k800 will take better pics, not even 2 talk about a possible se 5mp rival.i can even live with the samsung but nokia is a load of crap.i work in a cell shop and allways convince my clieents 2 go for se and they allways thank me afterwards

K800 wins (clearly)
N73 2nd
D900 3rd
- if u want the colours good on the d900 use photoshop and ull end up with a good image.
- frankly the N73 is over saturated and heavy on the noise reduction & seems to have post image sharpening
- d900 is a bit soft/foggy/out of focus
- d900 is cheaper by a fair margin (so it is acceptable for it to be last)

i don't know what to bye.......or n73 or k800,i like making pictures and listening music,i could say that both are almost the same at this categories.my cousin had a n73 and he told me that n73 it works hard with that simbian style :( sometimes it blocks and sometimes it reacts in a few seconds, for example : if he push the menu button you have to wait a second,it doesnt reactes like usualy phones.you might say that 1 second it isn't much, but because we are used to phones that reacte at the same time when you press the botton it makes you to hate that simbian style.thats what i know of n73 from my cheacking.
k800 i didnt tryed yet so i dont have much to say about it.i think that i will borough it to see how it works.i hope that it works fasster than n73

I don`t really know what of this three phones is better. In my opinion all of them offers great pictures for a phone. Talking about video recording, the SE its left behind.(small size videos)
If I have too pick one, I'll choose the samsung, is't has good pictures, good videos, good style. For sure it's not the best, but here in my country de samsung cost about 150 dollar less than the nokia and the SE. For me, i'm not going to spend more money for a phone that offers only a few more features and maybe a slightly best perfomance.
Just my opinion. Sorry for my english, I'm from Chile.

The d900 is a shocking phone like all the other samsung d series phones, huge clunky buttons and the camera definatly the worst out of the three, the k800i's camera is better due to the impressive flash and taked over 5 photos and chooses the best one how ever the k800i is misisng out on the symbian os so it lacks the cool features you can get on the n73 like xsound or real player, definatly not the d900 it might be slim but its still wide so depending on what you want for a phone go for either the n73 or the k800i i have an n73 as i prefer to have lots of applications but the k800i is just as good

I tested SE k800, and i own n73, but sorry, i don't know samsumg model... As i made some pictures with nokia, and then with SE, Yes, Se makes better pictures, but, nokias are good too, and my comment here is, that i own a good proffesional digital camera for taking good pictures, nad it calls like canon eos...
If u guys wanna make a good pictures, buy a camera, not phone, 3,2 mpixel on phone is just a resolution that phone can make, if u look at files, on all phones are same size (if they have same MPixel camera).
If u talk with your phone, and take a picture here and another there few days after, it's good, but if u want a quality picture... don't look for it on phone.
As i have seen, as phone, nokias ar the best, no other phone have better logicaly system. Non nokia phones are just diffrerent, and use diferent system, cause they wanna make better, but not same as nokia, an then u see what they make... a crap :)
_only my comment_

if anyone have seen the "one more shoot-out review of N73 and it's eternal enemy but the real winner K800 against the higher resolution Lg Kg920. nokia has been proven of overacting the image quality of their nokia fans so-called best imaging phone available N73. now that this 880+ posts and arguments has been ended by the gsmarena review. although they didn't directly said N73 is inferior in K800 as far as still shots are concerned, it is clear that the K800 wins. samsung got excellent video and nokia is nowhere against the two in their own capabilities. hope that SE will implement CCD sensors like in S700 before when they will introduce K800's successor in the future.

oh my gosh people....they r PHONES not digital cameras....so stop baging the "poor Quality"! if u wnt a super high quality camera with good lens n all that stuff...then go buy a digital camera!! its a convenience to have a phone with a built in camera...the manufactures oviously didnt consider that profesional photogrophers were going 2 use and critasise them...seriously
