Forgive me if I'm wrong, but the k800 and the d900 seemed to have faded colour. That's what I thought anyway, which puts the n73 slightly ahead in colour quality. In terms of sharpness the k800 seemed to have a slight edge, but it was hardly noticeable.
n73 seems to have edged ahead with such great colour, too bad i bought a d900 :S.

i guess u get me wrong. the purpose of comparing those 3 camfone with a dedicated one is to measure how well they perform against the dedicated camera.
if you compare it among the 3 alone. it will pretty much based upon your own preference and there will be biase. if u compare with a dedicated camera. u will know the standard of each camera phone.
well.. another thing to mention, if they can build a camera phone that match the dedicated one. I will buy.:p
-----> and i guess you got into the wrong forum. the heading should be how well these camfones do against dedicated cams. the task is simple. compare the 3 foones as to: the quality of the pics, contrast, sharpness, how they do in dim llighting conditions, their zooming function, and all. and then i guess that you wouldn't be buying a camfone then huh. coz nomatter how they develop these camfones they couldn't ever match the dedicated ones. but if ever they do, i think it would bulk up and you wouldn't want to carry a fone as big as your bag would you?

Just think a bit. K800 has Cybershot tech. that Sony uses in it's digiCams. N73 has what ? Nokia tech... I'm sorry i haven't heard until now about Nokia cameras....my bad.So for these hard headed Nokia fan, try to think outside the box.

Ill admit, I didn't look at all the pictures (slow internet connection :) ), but from the pics I did look at, i pretty much found that the N73 is the best, with the k800 as a very very close competitor, but the D900 is absolute crap. You can't even put it in the same league as the other 2!

yes you can. the heading says that comparing k800, n73, 7 d900. you dont need those specifically designed for digital phtography to compare the pics taken between the above mentioned fones. come on dummy! be sensible. the ones you suggested are dedicated digital cameras. se or nokia or samsung can make camerafones with the same quality as those dedicated digi cams but then they would cost you a fortune. willing to spend dummy?

the only is... k800i has no night mode... other than that, it's perfect!!!! among the three it's the best!!!
-----> OH YES THEY VERY WELL DO! They even turned it up a notch higher now. it's called the twilight mode. and there are 2 scenes. twilight landscape and portrait. so pick what you need.

Hi,
I never used the samsung d900, but i saw the preview from the sales man, i used the k750i for 10 months and the k800i for 2 month, and the nokia n70, also i have the n73 now for the last 2 weeks.
N73 & K800i both photo quality during the day time and indoor photo with or without the flash are the same, but the k800i at night with or without the flash is the best.
K800i doesn't open the office files and has no EDGE (Enhanced GPRS). if you are using it with network supporting 2G only EDGE, then no use to get the k800i, The N73 supports all networks and data transfer, opens all kind of files.
N73 for me is the best cause i can open all the emails with any attachment.
N73 is very slow when taking a photo.
N73 has the best video quality not compared to k800i at all.
Still The software of N73,
V2.0628.0.0.1 - 10-07-2006
Has porblem of restarting and stucking.
Reject a call with SMS does not work.
If you enabled the caller name in General profile with a tone, it works but when you answer the phone it restarts.
If email inbox got more than 30 emails and you marked them for delete, it will not delete the emails and returns to standby screen.
So N73 is good for me, but wait until the upgrade the software.
or wait for next version.
THANX

clearly you can see that the K800 is the best camera out of them.. it has the best pictures, the N73 is good but the K800 is better. my first phone was a nokia and then after that all the cell phones i ever got were Sony Ericsson. they are the best, nicely designed, nice cameras and good applications!

The nokia seems to have very rich colour, almost too rich. it looks like a TV with the colour slider turned to maximum. the K800 and the N70 both had the best focus.
i would always go for ericsson because of the wealth of extra features and toys they have in them

Reply to:
>>Matt or mad & murice. I talk to you. I say that n73's flash is >>powerful than k800. Ok .Example- 12 marks is bigger than 9. But >>when you see such way - 9 out of 10 marks & 12 out of 20 marks. >>I want to say that k800's flash is powerful. But is too weaker >>as a xenon flash. And as a led flash n73's is comparatively >>powerfu than k800.
>>Rll
As I've said. Use the N whatever LED's Flash and take a picture of someone walking in the dark across the scene. Then take a picture with the K800 using it's flash of the same person walking in the dark across the scene.

And the winner is...K800!!!
Others still need to work on the quality, I analysed myself with my friends K800 with my N73. I admit the image and sound quality is better than N73 and D900.
