Who cares about optical zoom, although 903sh optical zoom is excellent. Please do yourself a favor search online for picture samples of 903sh shots -- forget nokia se samsung. I won't even bother telling you about macro quality. just look online Sharp CCD camera modules in 903sh and 904sh are the best in any cell phone.

Open your eyes... Sharp does not take pictures as well as K800i.. 2x optical zoom is useless if they do not have the technology(e.g. N90 and N93)

in my opinion nokia n73 have the best camera.about big and havy...i realy don`t see this like a desavantage because we know this is a smartphone..not a phone for beauty.if i want a beauty phone i will choose l`amour collection or 8800.right? SO...Nokia is the best phone!!!

3K, open your eyes. K800i is much better in camera. At night, N73 is totally useless in camera. Slow in speed, pictures are awful.

I dont see the K800i smaller than the N73. A bit by one cm, yes. If you see photos, or compare the real thing, then you would know. Xenon flash? Hmm. I dont see why its a benefit when its weaker than LED flash when taking night photos at longer distances. I hate the gradient. Image Stabilizer? Huh? theres no image stabliser in Auto Scene in camera mode. Only in others like snow scene, which changes the image colours dramatically. I dont know why people talk about image colours being artificial. as i said, If you check digital camera reviews, you would notice that the colours are also artificial in a way. The only reason why SE pictures look noiseless is only because the image is processed with anti-noise which takes away detail (see 100% zoom).

ok ok fair enough, the k800i is byh far the better camera phone because they have actually dedicated the phone mainly to a camera, thats why there is all this cybershot branding etc however k800i and d900 are the most sensible choice for a mobile smply because the n73 is really big and heavy, i own a d900 and it is brilliant but the camera on the k800i is much better. The d900 is lighter, smarter, quicker, thinner and looks a million times better and that is the reason that makes it number 1 UNLESS you do not have a digital camera and want a phone that you will use the camera a lot, and just to point out, m2 cards aren't that big where as in the d900 i have a 2gb card microsd and the video of d900 IS SERIOUSLY AMAZING, if gsm arena do a review of the 3mp video shootout then the d900 will kill it because the k800i records in a lower resolution not even vga quality!! But nevertheless k800i is a superb phone with the best camera but then again a phone is a phone and not a replacement for a digital camera yet and d900 wins overall if you include ALL the features, but if you are just comparing camera then k800i wins by far.
D900>Small,light,fashionable and a very good camera, best buy overall
K800i> very nice, best camera, good for ppl who dnt own a digital camera or want a phone just for camera purposes (MAINLY camera purpose)
Nokia n73 < good camera JUST TOOOOOOO BIG AND HEAVY

I have to tell you guys, are you all kidding or something, none of these phones' cameras come close to Japanese phones like Toshiba and Sharp, especiall Sharp 903. The camera in that phone is better than some of those Sony Cybershot digital cameras. Open your eyes people. Cheers

After reviewing all photo's and playing on all phones as i work with them i have seen impressive quality amongst them all.
looking at every camera function and the texture and light i would give it to k800i clearly but for second i really couldnt say its very close. The k800i is an impressive phone all over not just the camera and with the added benefit of being the camera giant at the moment it really does make it the phone to own.

Heard that a day consists of 24hours, 12 of which are in the evening. I love going out and have a sweet time with my mates.. evening times.. and if u dont have a flash, you dont take ur phone out ur pocket. Very basic maths that this adds up to... Another one for the good guys... aka SE !!! Well done lads !!!!!

SE is the obvius champ among the three the lighting of SE is impressive its ability as a cybershot is proven in many angles for sony ericson 4 thumbs up (including my toes) ^_^

Extremely, k800 is the best 3,2 MP camera phone, those NOKIA is so so so bad. NOKIA use Carl Zeiss Optics just to make SE doesnt use this great optics. As we know that carl zeiss is camera optics that usually used by SONY digital camera. NOKIA poor U... k800i takes natural photos. it's more complete by using xenon flash. So nice work SE...

No no no i have n73 i wanted to buy k800 but it is very ugly, the keyboard is unconfortable and so is the camera cover. Even if k800 takes better pics, n73 looks better feels better and has symbian , a big screen and many more. I hate that durring the night n73 is useless, but i don't really take pics in the club or in dark places anyway. if it's sunny outside, well n73 really makes better pics really, there is no reasen to speak just like that, it has a little bigger lens, verry good zeiss lens, and if you make them at a smaller rezolution you can compare them to digicams really i took PERFECET SHOTS on a cloudy evening.

I would have to say that even tough I'm quite a Nokia Fan, I have to give my vote to K800. Pictures are far more realistic than those taken with N73. Nokia's pictures are more clear, thats true, but many pictures seem like too sharpened with photo editing pogram. And Beceuse ericsson has a bit of a prize benefit and Real Flash whitch is a very Big PLUS, I must do the right thing and go with ERICSSON!
