F.Florin, you are "right". The K800i took good photos... NOT. Imagine taking day photos, you get a contrast, and the camera cant even manage the sun light. Pics appear washed. You can say pictures from N73 are artificial, but dont forget, your digicam also has the same colour tones. And for noname, we do not take professional photos, but what would you say if you have a K800i that cant take good clear shots even in day? would you like objects in the photo to appear whitish or faded?

K800 has beaten by N73. The picture qality & feautre performed by nokia n73 is best than k800. So shame to k800.

the k800i is much better than the other 2. i have 1 and it takes much better pics than those shown. the d900 is rubish, i don't like the cheap design either and nokia's displays aren't as good as the sony's so pics aren't as clear onscreen. without a doubt k800 wins easy.

          My Dear Friend's,

From where I stand, I'd say that the Sony Ericsson is the best, the picture's are more close to reality then the{"FAKE" - N73}, and the washed D900......my opinion is that if anyone want to have a good phone with all features should try first the S.E products!!! Sony Company is a big one, and professional in the electronics, same the panasonic - philips but they don't have quite the succes in the phone market......Don't waist your money...Save it by buying Sony Ericsson......Good Luck To All...Pace

If I were to choose from the 3 phones,i would choose the N73 as the shots taken from it are more prominent and very clear.Every single detail of the picture can be observed without any difficulty.K800 is second best while the D900 is last.

              hi guys,

If you want to belong in the elite, technological fashioned and different from the copy cats in terms of features, then go get the samsung d900, samsung z710 and samsung p850.

ask me gentlemen and i beleive these are doctored pictures i use (N70) these phones and nokia always has kind of "colored grainy" pictures. as for sony ericsson it always does better in displays on PC. nokia seems to have fixed this case a bit in N93 with induction of autofocus lets see it gets better in their 'handy' smart phones as well.

I've been researching N73 versus K800i. I'm a heavy user of PIM functionality, but also require a great camera phone. Just thought I'd remind folks that the SE has a max limit of 1,000 contacts (I need >1,750). If it wasn't for this I'd opt for K800i.

The k800 was the definate leader of the 3 phones. Especially when it comes down to color matching. The close up of the purple flower the nokia was way to dark, and hard on the eyes. The samsung was to washed out. The k800 was nice and soft and around the right color blend for the shot. The only shot i thought the k800 didn't do as well was one of the text shots. Overal k800 was the winner.

From what i saw in this review i will place the phones in following order:
1.K800 - have better focus and colors in the most of the pics and also a better macro mode, but like every SE and this one make bright pictures
2.N73 - this one suprise me a lot-very good performance by Nokia they have cleared the red effect in the pictures with white and a lot other bugs but still they have on what to work on to beat Sony's Cyber shot
3.D900 - this one is the worst because can't focus very well the colors are paled and have no macro mode but for a phone without macro takes good pics in close up

noname This is the worst opinion ever. Firstly it's more easy to take picture with your phone and you won't have to carry around 2 things and worry about it's batteries. Secondly we fill the manuf. pockets because we buy their magnif. products and we have fun with them and use them and everybody wins. I don't think we compared much if you would read bettre phones pics with camera's pics. Phones will take pictures like cameras in 2 3 years when they will have ca CCD sensor big xenon flash and the marketing solution will be best. They can but they won't. With these phones you can't get a decent picture at night. My k750 took a better picture at the disco then n73 and that bothers me very much.

Nokia N73 is the best...the pictures are clearer, brighter and sharper than those of cyber-shot one. Just take a look at this http://mobile-review.com/review/nokia-n73-cam.shtml ..nokia certainly win.

                            http://www.mobile-review.com/review/samsung-d900-cam-en.shtml
"For better experience we are going to face off the D900 against Sony Ericsson K800i и Nokia N93. Running a few steps forward, I have to say that shots taken with Samsung D900 look equally to those made by two other handsets. Certainly on closer examination reveals tiny shortcomings of the D900’s snaps, but unsophisticated users won’t detect them and find all these phones comparable. Even though macro-mode is missing on Samsung D900, its camera sometimes performs better than the rivals"

why some people are into camera features? these three phones are ultimately took pictures with ease and quality. Are you people a professional photographer? Phones take pictures for every special moment spending with our friends and relatives and not for photography business. Then why almost everybody bother to force which phone is better in fact these are phone if i can remember and not stand alone cameras. We are being exploited by these manufacturers to advertise their phones and we are the loser in the end. You make these manufacturers rich and your pockets exhausted, lol.

People, these are phones and do not take them seriously. Follow your instinct and your preferences and get the phone that suits you.

Poli, if you read Mobile-review and if you see pics on mobileburn at full size or even half the size, you would see that the N73 has better pic quality, its clearer and nicer.

I have both K800i and N73, and now I have decided to sell the K800i. Why? I dont like the flash, it works at short distances, and you get a gradient in the background, or the background appears very dark. Redeye control with the flash doesnt work, what else can I say? WHo cares if it is a Cyber-Shot phone. Doesnt mean that pic quality is good. Wait till a new K800 comes with a normal Digital camera with good pic quality, then i will be impressed. To me, n73 is in between.

for those who have the ridiculous idea of n73 taking pictures with more realistic colors, just take a look at the picture of shoes in the first page!

@andrei ro. yes there will be updates, and the phone will get more stable. nokia have pulled a update service site so you won't have to take it to the service centre
