I bought this phone this morning… by the end of the day I can say that there is no phone I would like to have from all that are and aren’t on the market. Truly this is the best phone for me and I have 2 years warranty. I spent 600$, all my money but it was worth it. My k750 lasted me one year but n73 will last truly 2 years. Pictures: are absolutely great I didn’t even seen them on a sunny day because it was a cloudy day. The shutter is mechanical and a bit triky because in some situations my k750 would get a little better pics. : (. The big screen is too good to be true, the keyboard is confortable and the phone is a little bit stylish. Video is crap it flickers very much at computer playback : ( it’s a shame , this is almost a perfect phoneYou won’t get well, me, a mem card instead a soft little cloth for the camera : (. The second camera the infrared the second speaker and the light sensor, I didn’t need those I want to pull them out : ). Also I have an important question , PLEASE ANSWER, this day my phone restarted by itself just once I heard this is common. Will there be a software update from the internet?? And will this improve video and photo quality? . If you have any questions write, maybe I ll be around, my advise buy it it’s worth it.

translated from well mobile review
is possible to indicate that the product from Nokia gives the best photographs. By Rovno the same or even only the best imprints can be obtained, pokoldovav above photographs Sony Ericsson K800i in the graphic editor. But sense in this approach there is none. Therefore we indicate, that the photographs to Nokia N73 appear better, that also is confirmed by the interrogations of users.
Nokia n73 50%
Nokia n93 30%
SE k800 20%
nokia won, no more comments, and it was already confirmed (even not knowing) by you users!!! 80% of you choose nokia over sony ericsson!

Nokia N-Series...
Best Answer You Could Here In GSMARENA... dnt be confused czz the asnwer is N73 go bak to the pics, and u could find that N73 gives more realistic colors..czz it's more browny and Better contrast...in addition it's histogram's resolution is better...one thing that k800i might beat N73 is it's design and cyber-shot(which is not very nesscesry) ONLY
so go east and go west..Nokia is the best...

BUY all 3 and take pics at night with d900, when it's cloudy bring k800 and during the day nokia n73. :)) Please help me out in romania n73 is 600$ and it's pretty much and k800 550$. i hate k800 for it's design and d900 is boring. the question is: am i going to spend all my money on n73? at first i wanted to do that but videos arent great neither the pics especially at night or indoors. and at n73, can you update it from the net and this"firmware, does it make the phone make better pics or videos?? plese answer that.. anyway at this price i expected a great/excellent pic taking an video phone but it's not : (

Ok, is there something wrong with my vision? what I have seen d900 takes the best pictures, k800 are almost as good too. The ugliest are nokia's, they just look ugly, though they do have more color, but overall, the pictures of samsung d900 look great and I think I might even buy it. seriously don't understand why most of you guys say d900 makes the worst quality pictures.

Who gives a crap about cameras on cell phones anyway?! Just go get a digital camera that has a 7 mp resolution. Then we'll have a competition :)

N73 is the winner...crystal clear image results....nice zoom performance.......k800 did pretty well too....but falling a bit behind n73......about d900...i think the photoghrapher caught pictures with d900 in worse conditions...so most people weren't impressed....it's camera was alright but not better then the rest of the 2....i request the gsmarena team to update this review with there own professional comments to finalise this debate.

2 fast 2 furios, it's obvious that you never even touched the N73 :) Check out the dimentions first and then post.
poli, details? C'mon, enlarge photos, K800 pics are blurry and DON'T show all the details while N73 ones DO. MOST people like bright colors and sharp vivid photos and only SE fans like blurry "natural" (hehe) photos from K800. It's simple!

guys - just look at DETAILS on those picture - N73 is using so much post-processing that maybe colors are more vivid and pictures may seem sharper - but ture is that when you compare it with K800 you can clearly see that N73 is loosing out big time on fine details!
It has nothing to do with carl-zeiss optics - its simply just software post-processing done on the picture by camea software - nothing more - and in this case it just make pictures more eye-candy but definetly not better quality. They look more like cheap 2MPix cam from few years ago.
And what is most important about pictures?! Of course - amount of DETAIL!
You can get this nice vivid colors with K800 in any simple photo-album you use to upload your pictures with basic post-processing features in seconds.
On the other hand - obviously you cant make up for N73 lost of detail in any way.
So K800i is the clear winner here when it comes to QUALITY!

I see that most of u prefer K800..And I see that most of u, are very s2pid (because u prefer K800). And I'm glad that I'm not s2pid like all of u.
READ people! READ the K800 forums and u will see how many complains about the software.. This beloved K800 CRASH very often! It has MANY bugs. Oooo and about N73? Even if u write a sms, the pfone..yes, it CRUSH, restarted it self. Because of all that, I really don't give a s**t about the 3.2 mpx camera.
In the end, YES, D900 is the best. Don't believe, right? THEN, READ !! READ the forums about this phone.
Sorry about my english, I'm a foreign.

Sorry for double post. One more thing, I have a K800i and a N73, i find that the K800i works better in a range of 1 metre (at night), while the N73's LED works much better than that (you cant see a colour shade)

I definitely think N73 has the best image quality of them all. Pics are vivid and clear at 100% magnification. I would think that if someone had "common sense" he/she would choose a device with features and abilities, not because of size.

I work in a cellphone retail shop and I have personally tested these three phones; in terms of practical design and being unbiased as to features, sony ericsson k800i is the best, followed by Samsung D900, and last of them would be nokia N93 because why would someone like to carry around a brick?? it doesn't matter how nice the brick is, or even if it sparkles inside, a brick is a brick!!! Be aware.

K800i design compact/macho/smaller/nice stereo audio/picture with real flash.Night like a day 24 hours.
N73 design very big, bigger then n70/brick stone carry around/audio sound like nokia 3660 even with 3d stereo/night picture always like 24hours blackout.
D900 design not long lasting(soft ribbon cable)same like n80/n93,night picture always like 24hours blackout.
Nokia and Samsung designer/engg pls upgrade your flash light and compact your PCB board because this will smaller your big phone.
Yess....SE one step ahead.
