Nokia N73 vs. Samsung D900 vs. SE K800: Photo samples

The three contenders in this article are some of the hottest phones on the market. Each of them has 3.2 megapixel autofocus camera and the logical question is - which one takes the best photos? We are now presenting you full resolution sample photos taken by Mobilmania.cz team and we wont comment on the results. You are very welcome to post your opinion in the review comments section.

Taking photos with your phone is as stupid as it can be. No photo-phone will evr be able to compete with even low-end real cameras, so why even bothering with phones?

but the k800 its not a clear winner, just indoors, the rest n73 its better, plus firmware updates will probably make the n73 EVEM BETTER due it hardware its top notch, carl zeiss optics. just a fw update and the k800 will be left in the dusk.

but how can you compare smartphone with a symbian one? as far as features goes, n73 is a clear winner and as far as camera goes, k800 is the winner. simple

I think all three phones come close to results ..
But I will favor N73 it just adds that exrta beuty touch
to its pics. Just have to love that CarlZeis Camera it has
a very beautiful application ..

guyz i had almost all kind of mobz and the best mob in pic taking is sony ericsson w900i and now i have both k800i and n73 but ma frnd have d900 in all these three i think'not bieng in favour of any one'i think n73 is the best than k800 or d900 or even n93.but u cant compare it with xcute dv 900 really..

cezar: sony ericsson and samsung used a strong noise removing algorithm, thats why their pictures have "less" noise, but their colors are pale, and the pictures sometimes are blurry... and when printed the n73 looks bettter, even the k750 pictures looks better than the k800 i colors,

i zoomed the phone camera's pictures just as what gsmarena did.

and N73 produces so much noise in comparison to d900 and k800, in "MY" final judgement d900 have made the best macro for it has lesser noise and sharp text... try zooming it too and you'll see which camera phone makes a BIG LIE in true camera imaging... but neway if you make a very large picture you'll encounter what i am saying...

I think none of them hass good 3.2 Mp canera if we compare there camera with hot SHARP 903
I will sugest gsmarena to compare 903 with them also

K800i colour for outdoor more like colour/reality.
N73 colour for outdoor more like to much colour seems like carton picture.
k800i closeup note writing very clear still can read it.
N73 closeup note writing not clear.
Result k800i was the best.

How is the k800i not a functional phone? I think it's an amazing phone, with all the features i could ever hope for in a phone. 100% satisfied with it.

I really dont give f|_|ck about that photoshop editing thing... i just want a phone that i can use as a camera in ordinary, usual situations... and i see Nokia N73 has more apealing pics than any of the other phones so id buy it.

SE are unreliable crap so they are the biiiiiiig losers in this and every competition, cause they are faulty in the most basic aspect: PHONE aspect. Not camera, not music player, not entertainment gadget.... PHONE!!!

ONE dutch site vs GSMArena.com, Slashphone.com, Mobile-review.com, mobil.idnez.cz, 2 russian sites that I don't understand but N73 and N93 pics are clearly better there too... Isn't it strange that only newmobile has k800 pictures better than others even 5 megapixel LG kg920? Think, SE fans :)
Here in Italia the N73 price is a bit high for me now, but soon I will buy it as it is the best cameraphone for now!

i would rather wait for 4MP offerings from nokia or SE. it seems 3MPs are only slight improvements of 2MP cameraphones. even for digicam users it is advisable to start at least with a 4MP. i just hope by then that resolutions and/or outputs would have less noise and produce more vivid pics..i read somewhere that samsung will skip 4MP and go with 5MP..let's hope nokia or SE will follow!
