I actually own a Nokia and a Sony Ericsson right now... i love both phones but I like the SE a little better, even tho as a phone I like the Nokia better but picture quality SE takes the win... Samsung sucks, I had a D500 and a D600, both phones sucked.... i hate samsung forever... bad reception and retarded phones... but i love nokia and SE...

K800 by far.. obviously, even though the Nokia makes great pictures, no doubt... it really is a great phone, and has a great camera.. but let's be serious here, you have to be blind not to see the difference between the K800 and it's competitors. I guess, that one could go either for the K800 or the N73 and not really notice too much of a difference... the D900 is outta' there... looks more like a cheap digital camera than a real camera phone.. sorry Samsung.. this one's not so good... awaiting the 5mpx camera phone.. maybe that will do some "damage" :D

either way nokia won this time in more reviews. and SONY its not best in quality, its CANON & NIKON, even panasonic its producing better cameras than sony. mp3, walkman are not the top of the market, its the ipod. either way, those you say walkman produces better sound, they never heard a n91 or the n93, both phones have especiall sound chip produced by texas instrument that really ROCK your music like any other chip can... it beats my ipod hands down... fan boys you say alot of things but never show PROOF, as i did in my earlier posts

Hi SE fans, pls dun fight with Nokia fan boys..becaz they close their eyes and telling elephant is horse. and some even says cybershot is useless, etc..
Nokia is leader in the phone but not in camera, not in mp3 player. So, when technologies converged to the phone, they just lost. thats the fact.

It's not true.. for anyone that knows a thing or 2 about cameras.. the k800 is the best of those 3.. why? 1 of all it produces the LESS color aberations!!! (false colour pixels) (see the last pictures of OUTDOOR) - here yu can see taht at k800 the small tree right in the center, with it crown on the sky.. at nokia and samsung it has come kindda of RED PIXELS!! and that's not posible!!
2nd issue.. at the pictures with the shoes.. yu can clearly see that both the nokia and samsung have problems with the WHITE SHOES! - the color have a BLOOM effct ( i don't know how to call it), and that's why you can't see the textures of them.. but on k800 yu can see them much better.
3-rd issue.. At the pictures with the car and the resturant, the nokia camerea have a strange thing.. it's compression is wierd.. look at the line of the door at the car (it has a zig-zag texture.. it can not have a real curve line like the k800) and at the letters.. it's not natural..
IN MY OPINION, and i've worked with digital cameras for more than 1 year.. i preffer the k800!! I find that NOKIA has 2 major problems: 1) it has a high contrast (not natural -it's like a software enhancement) and that's why the pictures SEEM (only seem) better, and 2) it haz this effect (software possibly made) SHARPEN (see ADOBE PHOTOSHOP) but sometimes it's so obvious (it brings so much noise arounnd the thin lines and letters)!! and this is a cheap trick in my opinin.
ABout the samsung.. well.. it lacks the white ballance (in the pictures), that's why you'll find the TOO green picture.. and most of all it has the most NOISE in the pictures, and finnaly.. it's pictures are lacking the contrast.

SO, i'm sure that k800 is better at taking pictures and i would say taht samsung and nokia are in the same place.. because both have diffrent issues.

the conclusion is nokia's camera is the best, its color so vivid.nice job NOKIA, SS D900 produces a very natural photos(soft) but still sharp, so D900 on the second place, and K800 still remain the worst, Cyber Shots is just a label, in fact SE failed in compete wf D900 en N73.What a SHAME! yes i agree only SE fanboys cant accept this fact LoL.

i ever use Sony ericsson phones for once, and i swear i wont buy phones in SE brands nemore, i use k700i that time, and the camera lens is the worst cameraphone lens i ever used, many ants on the picture i took, so if u guys say k800i is a great camera phone, well sorry i dont trust it again...SE failed in adopts gud quality lens into their products.again again and again...

The pictures posted on GSMArena don't highlight any great differences in the picture quality between the N73 and K800i.

avinersan, look onto the EXIF data :) if you don't understand anything in photography, better keep silent.

mazz, all the photos from the K800 are very blurry and dull. This is what you call nice shots? Open your eyes, don't be a blind fanboy!
The N73 and N93 both are better than K800i...
