I saw the N73 yesterday at robinson's mall manila, the price is P25K ($500) I was really amazed coz i thought its big & bulky but not, its small and quite thin and its's clean to look at and simple and yet very classy! its more attractive than the K800i.

the people who tested out with phones usually dont do such a good job taking pictures. when i read the review for the sonyericsson w810i i didnt like the sample photos for it. i thought they looked low quality. but i baught the phone and the pictures i took look much better than they did on the review. i probably think the samsung d900 has the best camera. i have used samsung, nokia, and sonyericsson camera phones. i have used the nokia n90, the sonyericsson w810i, and the samsung d820. and on the screen of the phone the pictures i took with the samsung d820 looked just as clear as the n90 and w810i and the samsung d820 is only 1.3 mp compared to the n90 and w810i which have 2 mp cameras.

        @Tarantula
how you can say its full of bugs or it reboots when you don't own one???? you know not even sony ericsson produces bug free phones, look at the p990, they are already complains of restart and its slower than s60. if they are bug they will be fixed with firmware updates. like any other nokia or sony ericsson phone.

also the n73 comes with a 1100mah li-polymer battery, and the k800 just 900mah. the battery depends on the usage, but you can get full whole 2 days, that its the average for a phone. nokia its not using weak batteries anymore.
n73 have also this new web browser minimap based on apple safari webkit, that renders the websites as using firefox or internet explorer.
and the quickoffice license its not expensive 30$ - 40$. if you want to have the full suite.
i have one i purcashed with for my n80, and i am planning to buy a wireless bluetooth keyboard. =) another thing the k800 can't do.

          @Joe

Your choice depends that you need. N73 is a smartphone as below says and like N80 it has very poor battery life, a lot of anoying bugs, reboots. Yes, it has bigger display but the same resolution. It has quick office, only to view documents. If you need full function quick office you will pay extra money. Only nokias E series and SE P-M series comes with the complete version of quick office.
If you want apropiate camera phone go with K800, it not present oversaturated and overexposing pics, it has true flash, a lot better macro mode, best pic, etc. great sound and battery life.

            To Joe.
            depends in what you need.
the N73 all the k800 features, Plus EDGE And Quadband (if u travel alot you will need it)
all the features of a smartphone including quickoffice, (word, ppt, excel editor)
it uses MiniSD that are capacious right now of 2GB and are cheaper than the M2 cards that sony uses.
the size of the phones it doesn't matter the n73 its quite small even being a smartphone
the n73 have better video Cif Vs Qcif of the k800
and the camera well read the review, but i like the n73 more because it takes better pictures outdoor without having to edit them. and most of the pictures i take are outdoors.
the recommended price of the n73 its 400 euros, so you may find it around (400 euros - 500 euros)

While everyones arguing over the best phone, i'd just like to point out to people that say the k800i or whatever phone you say takes the best pictures of any mobile.
The Nokia n93 makes a whitewash out of any phone here, while using the same resolution, it has a carl-zeiss lens and optical zoom, making all these phones look pretty ordinary. And the video capture is insanely good... shame it looks so ugly and costs so much...

Anyway about the debate at hand just before i get critiscised for breathing, it's a matter of preferance on these phones. Close up i think the K800 makes the competition stupid, while outdoor and distance ranges the n73 is clearly the winner. For clarity and general use though i think the K800i is the phone of choice, it doesn't look as diabolical as the n93, yet it packs a fair punch when it comes to imagery.

basilio, I agree with you, samsung d900 does not change the original color and real picture, meaning what you see is what you get, it is original conforming with the human vision. Other phones tends to over make over the picture which is not natural to human vision and it is not natural.Hello to other over confident fans, your picture is over exaggerated.

K800 way out performs the rest. Me and my mates between us have all 3 phones, and the k800i wins everytime. Was reviewed at highstreetmobile.com pod site, and most agree, the N73/d900 don't match up. If you want your photos as good as on a real digi camera you need tke K800i.

                      Initially I thought

                      1. K800
                      2. D900
                      3. N73

                      Now.. I'd like to say

                      1. D900
                      2. K800
                      3. N73

because I know a little things about photoshop. If original picutres are taken into account, K800 looks best. However, once photoshop can be used, D900 picture's quality can be the best. If you have experiences on photoshop and editing photos, I'm sure that you'll find what I'm trying to say (see indoor picutres and sharpness & contrast tones in all original pictures).

i was in favour of nokia N73....... but when i read the review at http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en/news.php?news_id=caf44c and saw the tiny details that v usually dont consider... k800i is a better camera phone... i personally dont want an overexposed or unnaturally bright colours, i prefer true to life n realistic images...
and the flash is wayyyy better in SE k800i
sorry nokia guys... SE scores over n73

N why u bring out other website to prove tht UR K800 is better? It seems like the comparison in GSMArena is somehow threatening ur K800 is it? LOL

Tarantula, who told you that photos were made by professional? LOLz!!! Ask your local photo prof, and the answer you'll get will be that LG KG920 is better than all other three devices.
That photographer can't take pics at all, and that small comparison is pointless, that one in GSMArena is nice and show the truth, which only SE die hard fanboys can't accept.

N73 is the best phone for now. K800i is good too.

the k800 has a much better camera and the only phone in the market which has a real flash(xenon). What,s samsung doing in this comparison? Nokia and Sony ericsson are the best phones. n73s photos were good but i will have to say that sony ericsson is a bit better. The functions are much better too, just like the Cybershot.

Nokia's features and camera is quite good but the design is a little bit ugly. It's bulky and does not have a good shape and surface finish as SE. The price is also higher than K800i. SE is good with all in one function and i must admit it. Although Nokia's platform is Symbian it is the 3rd Edition one. Not many software is available for downloads. If i wanna go for Nokia, however i better wait for the price to go down and wait for most of good software to be available before buying it. For now, i think SE is better; in design, features and camera.

View this comparisson made by a professional photographer, specialized in digital imaging between N73-N93-LG KG920-SE K800

                                      http://www.newmobile.nl/eur/en/news.php?news_id=caf44c

And the winner is... Obviously K800, like here in GSMarena. All people look for a vibrant colors in a camera but in N73 are oversaturated, overexposed. Only for the novices N73 is the best. The colors are completely unnatural, especially blue tint. You clearly seen this fact in the flower close-up, while K800 manages the best color balance and better macro mode. Simply K800 beats N73, although it hurts to them (nokia boys)
