Still this G3 is one of the best phones right now in 2014. But I still choose Z2 > G3.
Z2 > G3 > S5 > M8

this is the best phone i've ever used in my life
everything is amazing display camera battery music play multimedia and UI. the design looks classy in person. easy to hold fit to my hand
long lasting battery too, i managed to got almost 2days before i recharged my phone.
im a heavy user but this phone never disappoint me.
so far i have no any issue or problem everything run smoothly and accordingly almost perfect.

G2 was 8.9mm as well. Plus G3 is wider. So not much better.
While G Pro 2 is a tad wider it's 0.6mm thinner. And still has some curve. So definitely thinner. Plus had a 200mah larger battery.
That's the point. Why on Earth is it the same thickness and battery as it's predecessor? When even G Pro 2 is thinner and has bigger battery.
They could have made it thinner and still put at least 3200-3400mah in.
If they wanted to keep it same size for now reason they could have put at lest 3600-3800mah.
Even if the battery life turns out decent it could have without any effort been much better.
Same was S5 has 0 excuse of having 2GB ram. And is sad I have to point it out that way just to possibly get it through.

LG G3= 5mm-8.9mm( ARC CURVED BACK)
IF WE DO CALCULATION LG G3 is the overall slimmer among the three.

G3 has an "ARC CURVED BACK"
which ONLY mean THICKEST PART was the CENTER @ 8.9mm.
from the CENTER POINT going to Left or right sides thickness was 8.8mm - 5mm.
that's why when you hold the phone it has a very good GRIP! its even comfortable to hold than Xperia z2.

in real life usage
s5 and z2 are only good when you add the standby time.
but when you do a REAL LIFE comparison on CONTINUES STRAIGHT BROWSING OR WATCHING MOVIES
G3 IS THE REAL WINNER!
we have done this
we do watch the same movies on the three devices
( s5, z2,& g3)
Hunger game 2 and spider man2
after the two movies results were
Samsung galaxy s5 still has 16-19% remaining battery
sony xperia z2 has still 14-15% reamaining battery.
while LG G3 stil @ 26% of the remaniing battery.
we also do a REAL LIFE BROWSING using the same Korean Carrier 3G/4G
S5 lasted ABOUT 8;16HOURS
Z2 lasted about 8:28hours
LG G3 lasted 9:22HOURS.
SO IN CONTINUES USAGE LG WINS!

Second. S3 and then S4? Lolo lol. Especially S4. In movie mode s4/S5 Note 2/3 have one of the best white balance scores across all screens. And again even that tiny hint to it when in standard mode is not that far off...and definitely no further than lcd's overly high white balance.
You really know how to repeat false info while repeating rude arrogant actions it seems.

S5 and Z2 have a decent set of advantages over G3 and m8. Though all are great in the end.
