The only thing which is good about the G3, LG managed to build in a 5.5" screen in that housing. When it comes to the highly praised QHD display, you won't be able to see a difference between this and other high-end phone's displays. All the other things in the unit are just mid-range class.
I am not big fan of the Samsung design, but their specs and software are great.

I love lg g3 over s5 compared to specs 3gb ram over 2gb lager screen smaller bezel .....etc what I was keeen to know was the contrast ratio nd the colour produced is lesser than s5 which is a big issue for me coz the first thing I would notice in a fone is the feel fatter Nd screen. camera software Nd battery comes latter ....
I think lg should give a good pair of headsets to compliment this handset... Like offered in z2

The SoC is still 28nm process based be it 801 or 805, the 805 will give you better fps on 3D acceleration and maybe you will be seeing 30 min increase in these browsing tests due to some of the GPU power efficiency increases. Nothing spectacular like the people are hoping.

Can someone tell me the difference between a G3 with snapdragon 805 chip opposed to 801. Will 805 affect the brightness of the display in any way? Need a new phone but I might wait for the 805 to come out. Thanks in advance.

Oil paint effect? It's a shame... a lot of "TOP" smartphone introduced this negative effect, and only Samsung seems immune. When I see 13MP i see 13 fake MP :(

All that is, is fact plain and simple. Like it or not accept it or not. 4th.
Nor will apple be among the first to have it. They have not even gone 720p yet. Everyone will be lucky if the 4.7inch rumors are true still with some form of an actual HD display.

other big brands sony, htc, samsung apple will also use QHD for their next flagship so it will be the standard for a flagshiphone. so no exception we should admit that QHD is better than FHD!

Instead of being the first with useless crap LG ought to concentrate more on their after-sales support and true innovation that makes life better. One thing that would make life better is a phone that last more than one fucking day!!!!
Instead of a stupid QHD screen when there isn't even media around to utilize it. A FHD screen is as good to watch a FHD-movie than these QHD-screens. And games need a more powerful GPU to push that many pixels around which drains battery even faster. This is ludicrous. Common sense LG! Wake UP!

This is the best phone i ever used.
Fantastic display sharpest clearest and color is excellent. Great viewing angles even on a direct sunlight.
Camera interface is simple and useful
13mp camera produces such an excellent photos vivid,sharp and correct colors
Its one of the best of not the best.
I was really impressed with the battery life of this phone its really really great and long lasting i can do over 10 hours of movie marathon. And almost 13hours on internet browsing using 3G SK telecom network.
Such a big surprised to me.
One of the great asset of this phone is loud and nice audio speaker also the music player is great.
I love the design simple and classic
This phone is good and very comfortable to grip,i can say its good to me. Maybe not for all.
Smartnote, dual split browsing are the two other important feature of this phone that i love to use.
Nice UI great organized multimediaphone.
I gave this phone 9.8/10 overall score from me.
I love my G3!
