You could have used a Lumia 1520 instead of a Lumia 1020. It has the same chipset and same camera sensor.

Also on top of that sony logo disappears when u take that screen guard off.. OH! also your warranty terminates as soon as thats off the glass. Quality you say? you need to learn your products, arent you ashamed that samsung "fanboy" is teaching you about your own products?

Its not the glass thats durable on sony, its the bullet proof screen protector by sony that they put on the glass that makes it durable. So 1. Sony is the one with marketing (fail) 2.if you take that screen protector off it avoids warranty and also sony logo disappears. So end of the day you sony fans are just jealous and uneducated also ignorant

3. You really really rely on Phone Arena for reviews??? Who does that. On every review they have the 5s outclass every phone and make it seem like a God of all phones. I have not heard anyone friends, family or on the internet complain about the display unless they wanna lie and try to talk down Amoled. But thats nun of my business...

This is not something which can be fixed in Photoshop and this is why I returned my S5. The Samsung also felt too cheaply made, plus it is close to ugly, in my opinion.
I did not want a WIndows phone, so I bought the Xperia instead, and I am rather impressed. The fit and finish is the best of any Android device I have held, it is close to iPhone territory.
The Nokia is definitely the best in the camera department, but it does have a bit lag, too, when I tried it.
The iPhone 5S has a better overall balance than the Xperia, but I will wait for the iPhone 6, which will also have input from Nokia's "camera guy" who just joined Apple.

Also if I remember correctly Sony has manufactured their camera parts and even whole sensors to other manufacturers like Samsung

If plastic beats glass, that doesn't mean it is better. It just means that it is backed by vigorous and intelligent marketing, which is a positive thing. By the way, the glass used on Z2 is very durable. You would know if you ever held it. But you didn't. There are even videos which prove its durability, you know? as in drop tests.

For you it might be, for many other too, but not for all. There are also negative reviews about it specifically the screen comparison of the flagships at phone arena.
Don't take cellphone too seriously. No one crushes no one. They only beat each other by small margins. That's good for us. The more the competition, better products for us. You don't own samsung money. So quit the whining and fanboyism.
