i have none yet, not SE W950 nor N91, i like them both, nokia are no1 on the mobile market, but i don't think that they can match the performance in sound quality of sony. i'll probably buy the SE, i have one and i'm more familiarized with the menu

alrite ladies stop bickering
lets face it....
the SE w950i is the best phone which is out and will be 4 ages
nd the n91 (the brick) is not a very good fone,
the power hungry brick is nothin compared 2 the far superior w950i
which is sleak and attractive

The N91-1 is still by far the superior phone, not only does it support Wi-Fi in this technological age of ours but it has a camera and was the first to support 4GB harddrive. Unlike the copy cat Sony with it's recent introduction of "4GB" memory that is so last tuesday I mean the N91 8GB is already out for petes sakes, get with the program Sony. To sum it up, the W950 is just another wananbe phone from their never ending, unsucessful, bid to overthrow Nokia!
Roll on Nokia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one and only.

Ah yes "standard plug-in ear phones that come with the Sony" are the best plugin ear phones on the market. :D
And W950 is a business phone? LOL. Yeah business phones are usually stamped with a walkman logo :D

To iA@X ,
N91 only has better sound if you use HUGE HEAD PHONES, like the ones found in call-centres! It cannot compare to the standard plug-in ear phones that come with the Sony. Who wants to walk around looking like a call centre agent...lol
You can even Google that!

To prashanth,
You must really live in some third world country, where technology or even business people don't thrive! This is a business phone, thus the lack of a camera! Cannot compare that tacky brick of a phone N91 to the more than classy business phone W950i. Did you even read(can you read..lol) the review before you posted on this forum?

Actually blind tests confirm that the N91 has better sound quality than the W950. So there you have it. Google it.

It's a great phone. It looks sleek and the sound is incredible! However, I don't understand why they didn't put a camera on the phone. I think this phone will get boring after a while because it doesn't have any other features. Except for the mp3 and the 4gb storage off course;)

i think this phone is a complete pack of quality for any music lover, and for those who think the n91 is a better phone to this should think again.EVER since i started making use of sony ericsson phones i had got to know that U CAN NEVER COMPARE THE SOUND PRODUCTION OF ANY SONY ERICSSON PHONE TO ANY NOKIA PHONE.Nokia is bad at sounds and will everly be.Big ups SE.

It's getting too frustrating now. I have to speak.
Do some of you even read the review or the hundreds of websites with w950 specifications. It says quite blatantly that it is a touchpad and it has a 3.5 mm Jack on the headphone (which isn't perfect but then on the other hand means you can still use different headphones).
Secondly how many people are gonna moan about no camera and no wifi? Sony are not trying to make the perfect phone ever but the best walkman phone ever. The amount of people saying it would be the perfect phone if it had this, if it had that but because it doesn't have a poor quality camera (that people would complain about) I'm not gonna buy it. Good, don't, find something else and be happy. Not everyone wants a camera, the same as not everyone wants an mp3 player on their phone. No wifi is a shame, get over it. SE are a business, why make a phone that will destroy the selling margins on your other products.
Rant nearly over.
Finally those people and you know who you are that are making comparisons over the sound quality vs the N91 when the w950 is not even on the market, GET A LIFE. There are those people lucky enough to get their hands on one but others talking with not a clue about the w950 but may have heard the N91. N91 has it's pro like a camera but cons like its a brick.
No phone is perfect.

i've seen this handset and let me tell you it's a bomb! 2 things are missing still : 3.5 jack & camera (at least a 1.3MP!)
User interface is amazing and although it is not a touch pad, it is not a classical key pad either. Feeling is great!
there is no way this handset can be compared to N91! N91 is ugly and enormous while this one is stylish, smart and fun!

With the average price of around 670€ this has to be the most over priced cellphone ever!

man, it's not a touchPad like the Chocolate or e900
It's just the normal button as other phones.
One more thing, there's no 5-way navigation button in the middle, just the Jog-dial in the side of the phone.

Does anyone know if this is a touchPad phone like the LG KG800 (Chocolate) or like the Samsung SGH-E900? Or its just a normal button pressing phone? Anyone who knows, kindly email @ zz.17.11.04@hotmail.com or just post a comment as if a reply. I'll check back soon. Your time is appreciated. Thanks!
