Gladiator, 11 Oct 20141gb RAM is not superior to 3gb, same with dual and quad cor... moreI agree about the RAM, 1gb is of course not better than having 3gb but how much is needed depends on the OS.
But regarding number of cores thats not a simple matter of more is better. It all depends on the core architecture and the krait core of the 805 and the enhanced cyclone in the A8 is completely different. So two cores can without a doubt be better then 4 cores, as seen in the benchmark.

X, 11 Oct 2014Don't try to change the subject. It was about benchmark res... moreExcept not. Again...system wide restriction and a decent gpu doesn't mean this unrealistic win you like to claim.
And quit changing the subject because whatever gimmicks apple uses to make benchmarks look good on paper can't save you for the terrible real life usage and scam it it.

AnonD-309127, 11 Oct 2014You fail to understand comparing IOS and android through be... moreDon't try to change the subject. It was about benchmark results that didn't come out as fandroids hoped. Once again whatever Android throws at the iPhone performance, it gets beaten. And about productivity. Really, on a phone? Even so, I can edit videos on my iPhone 6 as easy and probably as fast as on a PC. I can record music with dedicated accessories(iRig). Editing documents? Why would you do that on a phone? Anyway, you can do that too if you want. Closed system? Well, then wait for the OEMs to update your OS, and enjoy the bugs they just can't fix before your phone is almost obsolete.
If you want a Note 4, go ahead, but be aware that is not the best performer, your OA updates will be at least 6 months late, and the apps will not be optimized for it(2K screen), and the second hand value of your Note will be close to zero in two years, while the iPhone 6 Plus well keep at least half of its value.

X, 11 Oct 2014How about those benchmark results? There were so many fandr... moreYou fail to understand comparing IOS and android through benchmarks is a total gimmick.
The fact the apple build everything in house means that the software team optimise the shit out of the phone so that the software is a seamless as possible (although that hasn't always been the case), but IOS is a locked down operating system meaning you can do what you are told to do.
android is completely different catering to everyone's needs there in lies the separation between operating system and hardware, which seems to give apple the advantage on paper. Let's face it android phones are far more productive than iPhones. It's like comparing a pc to a console.
I'd rather an operating system that gives me more pc like functions than one that is dumbed down.
That's my preference but to hold these benchmarks in such high regard (especially when the N4 beat the 6+ on base mark x) isn't just pointless it's actually stupid.
Then I'll leave with a hypothetical... How well do you think the iPhone could handle the notes software? Cause I have a feeling the note could easily handle IOS

AnonD-115286, 11 Oct 2014Agreed, GSMarena should take a look on how Notebookcheck.ne... moreAgree. Phone Arena did a good comparison between the major flagship cameras and placed the iPhone 6 on top, as do most other reviews.
The Note 4 appears to have improved the camera performance over the Note 3, but there is still an unacceptably narrow dynamic range, which makes it at best a middling camera, suitable mostly for phone screen photo viewing.

How about those benchmark results? There were so many fandroids saying "wait until Note 4 shows up to wipe the floor with iPhone 6 Plus". Well, here we are, and the iPhone 6 is wiping the floor with the Note 4. So now the fandroids will wait for the next Android phone to wipe the floor with the iPhone 6. They are used to waiting. Samsung trained them well to wait, with phones that lag.

AnonD-1825, 11 Oct 2014not this year, there's new king in town called iPhone 6 plusThe Iphone 6 Plus is a POS if you compare to the Note series. When will you guys understand that the 2 phones are not even in the same league. I'm not a Samsung fan but the Note series has no competiton right now on the market. Actually, the only phone that I like from Samsung is the Note. It's the ONLY phone that suits me flawlessly because it's also a business phone. I always used business phones like NOKIA Communicator series but you know what happend to NOKIA and right now there are 2 phones in the market for business users: the Note 4 and the BlackBerry Passport. Everybody buys what he wants with his own money but it is an insult for the Note 4 to compare it with the iphone... If I'll be forced to use an Iphone I have no doubt that I will die from an heart attack in less than a week. Only knowing that it has no removable battery makes me nervos ...

Nice audio performance. If it was released when I bought my One M8, I would've bought the Note 4.

It would be interesting if the built-in browser really didn´t have page compression on wifi like Chrome does because it is available in the built-in browser on my Galaxy S4.

AnonD-317931, 10 Oct 2014Finally an impartial review by the best mobile reviewing si... moreAgreed, GSMarena should take a look on how Notebookcheck.net review the smartphone, thy did review the phone's wifi and GPS reception, power consumption level of the phone (not just test how long can the phone last), heat test on both charging and non charging. Though their review on camera, phone features are less detail than GSMarena, but I really hope GSMarena can perform a more well-rounded and in-depth review in future

AnonD-79768, 10 Oct 2014"Still, all things considered, the Galaxy Note 4 marks... moreThe feel of the iPhone 6 Plus? That is a personal preference, not something that can be measured. Samsung's GS5 and Note 3 feel better in the hand than any iPhone because the Samsung phones have a soft, grippy back that is warm to the touch. This is the first Samsung phone that looks better than an iPhone. I've seen them both in person and the Note 4 looks stunning. The metal sides are polished on the edges to give it a very nice, high end look. The 6 Plus looks like an aluminum can with plastic inserts at the top and bottom. The iPhone 5s looks way better than the 6 or 6 Plus. Apple took a step backwards.
