Bought this phone before 1 month.
Looks: perfect nd feels good on hands,the size which makes it look still better than other phones
Performance: no lag at all.... Smooth performance..
Camera: outdoor pics r perfect bt indoor is not that great. Front is good bt not wide hence big groupies are little difficult.
Cons:
heating on playing game,interner browsing for hours toghether make it get hot in front nd backside.
battery is not that much impressive.. coming from a lumia device i would say that it is oly with average battery life.
extreme power saving mode can help when battery goes down below 14% nd can b smoothly working till 1% of charge.
the back 13 mp camera sometimes takes little time to focus and shoot pics.
Back can be easily scratched
after 1 month usage i would say that i found some very small scratches but doesnt bother the user anyway. I hear pop sound when the volume is lowered very much and heard closely.scrolling main menu is a bit out of custom swipe menu.
But these are just niggles and doesnt bother that much. This gives a premium feel atleast for those who see it from other side. Comparing to other devices in this range samsung note 3 neo,sony t3 etc... This is the clear winner. Its better than all phones in this price range and u cannot go wrong with choice of this device.

please tell me htc desire 820s drawbacks... Many people told bettery problem and mobile heat problem... It's actually draw back or fake comments ah...

I have bought this device nd thr is some kinda disturbance in the speaker whenever i surf internet and play music side by side. This is the third device nd m getng d same problm in third device too. Is this a common problem? P.s. i am using 2g (airtel)

people are telling after android software is updated the battery problem will be solved .but when they updating to lollipop 5.0 /?
many new brands have come up with lollipop 5 with just 6-7k range .whats happenining to htc people to update immeditly.?

Actually am using HTC 820 past one month.... Really awesome mobile...... I love it..... This is the first time am writing comments on mobile performance....
I like to add one more thing.... Before I purchase this mobile I was reviewing the user comments of HTC 820
Mostly people are struggling in battery life..... But my mobile it's giving good battery backup....
Problem is not with mobile..... But problem in method of charging.... Never charge the mobile for entire night..... Morning charge your mobile upto 100%. Then after reaching 10% go for charging.... By doing this your battery performance will be increased..... If you are over charging your mobile they your battery capacity will be reduced..... Try this method......

HTC desire 820 is best mobile but the drawback is while playing games nd using mobile data at that time mobile heats heavily.
