India Today please review phones only after using it for a considerable duration. I am a user of this phone and I have had a pathetic experience. Apart from the poor camera quality and heating problem, this phone also throws screen blackouts. I haven't seen as worst after sales services as HTC in any brand. They don't care if you post complaints anywhere. No acknowledgement, nothing. Go and check their facebook page, no complaints are answered. User's phones are lying in HTC center from past 30 - 40 days. My phone is their since 25 days. Now they are telling me you will get it back post 15 days. I mean what ! Please don't fall for the cheap price, pay a little more and choose other brands. I still paying cuz I fell for this cheap product !

Hi guys in this phone while playing game it' will get too much of over heating problem . I can't display on that time also I plant change my phone every one is saying same issue. Not good in this phone

DEAR GSMARENA, i APPRECIATE YOUR EFFORTS. WHILE READING THROUGH THE DESIRE 820 LOUD SPEAKERS TEST I CAME ACROSS THE SENTENCE "Voice and music levels are virtually equal with the Desire 816". WHICH SEEMS TOTALLY WRONG CONSEDERING:
Speakerphone test Voice, dB Pink noise/ Music, dB Ringing phone, dB Overall score
HTD Desire 816 66.6 65.7 66.6 Below Average
HTC Desire 820 65.6 61.1 75.7 Average

I have an big issue for my htc 820 dual...in night i have 40 to 50% charge bt at the morning upto 4 to 5 am my phone is switch offf at that tym my data connection is also off.......plz help me...what can i do.........

I have purchase HTC desire 820 all features are great .but it is bad for the people who will be using to play game , internet or phone calls more . As the battery life is very very poor .if internet is used continuously phone will be drain in just 4 to 5 hours. This is not only with my phone but with entire range of HTC which my friendsalso do have . Charger lekar hi betho.
so of no use to purchase if we are not able to explore the entire features .
it that LG phones are great as my sister is using battery last for 48 hrs after using all features.

Battery life and heating is the major problem. Other than that, its a stylish, weight-less speed processing selfie/groupfie and smarty phone.

[deleted post]I wish Antutu would launch their own branded (or rebranded) phones in India. The only preinstalled app would be Antutu and the phones primary function would be just to run Antutu all day. It won't do anything else very well, but it will benchmark fantastically.
They will sell tens of millions of these.
