And you're wrong about VR only gonna be used by 1-2% of the owners. How do I know that? Because VR is so amazing that almost every big players in the industry is prepping for it. It's the next big thing. It's the future that arrives early. Facebook already bought Oculus for billions of dollar, Samsung got the gear VR, Google have their cardboard and YouTube is already opening up 360 videos channel, HTC is prepping the valve and even Apple is interested, but like always, will be a couple of years late to the party. So there's definitely gonna be more than 1-2% are going to use it, don't you think?
You definitely should give it a try with your Note 4, because it will such a waste if you don't. I can almost guarantee that you won't look back. You can thank me later. :)

This wasn't expected from S6, such a big let down. Poor loud-speaker and average battery is no go. Its battery capability will start depleting within a year and get ready for S7. It should have atleast got 3000mah battery. Who cares if its slightly thicker than iphone6, its power-packed already with 14nm Exynos 7420. But battery and loudspeaker with crapWIZ is still failures in this device. Who will pay 55K for a days battery and sluggish TWiz. Why can't they use stock android with custom icons ! 64hr endurance is not expected from 2015 flagship. G4 will definitely win in this department by using high quality loudspeaker and more close stock android theme, plus LCD is way to go on phones. My S2 is dead now after years and refuses to start. My Note-4 is doing good on kitkat no problems so far in last 5 months. but TW is worst customization of sammy. MIUI 6.0 is far better in animations and customization. S6 orders will go down after this Report of gsmarena. Now Note-4 still a winner, but little too big for my palm. I'll look for g4 or m9. No sammy you've crossed the limits of greediness !!

We (The "haters", or the people with common sense and self-respect) told you so. The can "optimize" all they want, the battery is just not enough. Also keep in mind another "arena" site always gets lower results in tests, meaning you can get even lower results when you use it. AND the battery is non-removable, meaning even the slightest deterioration will matter and will be a problem. Unless you carry a power bank, of course...Now tell me, is it normal for such an expensive, "premium" device to require a power bank?

Apart from looks & performance i'd take the S5 anyday.
VR is cool but i'm guessing only 1-2% of owners would use it. Why charge more and reduce a phones graphics and battery performance just for these people? Why not bring out a QHD device just for those people?

Utter garbage, this was to expected when they gimped the battery for the apple fan brain dead concept of slimmer metal unibody phones. Don't expect much from the S6 Edge either. The Note 4 is the best buy now for any Samsung user.

WOW, average battery life, no storage card or removable battery... will be sticking with my Note 4 thx Samsung.
I have owned 5 Samsungs now from the S2 but sense that Samsung is in the process of ruining the future Note 5.

I think you need another test unit. Every other reviews shows the loudspeaker blowing away earlier Galaxy versions. Heck, you can even hear it in Youtube hands on reviews.

And you don't seem to know that the QHD screen is reserved for virtual reality. You don't know what that is, do you? I understand, but I believe iPhones will eventually get it in around four years from now, just like they did with the big screen :)

Haters are going to hate, especially those iPhone fanboys. IMO, S6 is gorgeous. No way it is a ripped off from iPhone. Some phones have speaker grids at the bottom as well. Having speakers to be at the bottom of the phone is very normal. As well as rounded corners. S6 camera is just so powerful and quick and with its f1.9, the DOV is simply amazing. No more fake bokeh like the ones from HTC. I'm glad that TouchWiz has improved. My Note 4 is working very good with TouchWiz, and I think S6 is even better.
Advise to those haters, just stop following any Samsung related news. Your lives will be easier that way.

Design is ... moreThe design, shape, and frame look like Samsung. The iPhone looks like the Note 1 and Ativ. And the front and back look nothing alike.
The bottom looks similar ish because the round frame iPhone copied. The speaker grill like more like lenovo

Although the review lacked some detail I had hoped for, The review was to the point and direction was spot on.
Quite rational thoughts from the reviewer as well.
I'd have loved to see details like low light camera performance.
I would like to support to the general sentiment that we need storage/flash memory benchmarks as well.
Keep up the good work and bring more of these. Thumbs up.

Im a... moreFirst of all this review of battery life is on a pre release software and secondly the folks at gsmarena are known to jump the gun for giving early verdicts on battery life in the past and then correct the numbers later. Same thing happened for s5, note 4 and iPhone 6, initial sides reported for battery life were low and later they saw a significant increase. Don't trust these initial battery life numbers.

No SD-Card. No Replacable battery. Awful battery life. Im a Note user. If they do that to Note 5 then by by samsung, no real advantages whatsoever. They killed the main reason for their success
