The glass on the Z3 breaks easily (mine did just a couple of weeks upon recieving it) and that's a problem that may come with the S6 too. I like both phones, but the S6 is my favourite still...

U should have checked it right in the store itself ..my piece had big scratches on the back ..so they replaced it then and there before making the bill ...my battery is going pretty wel

Pr-booked this Galaxy S6 Black sapphire and got it delivered on 10th April,2015,Mumbai City,India.
Maybe I am the first one to say this:
1.This phone has issues with the AMOLED SCREEN(or mayne the unit I received is faulty. The lower half of the front screen is always having a red/pink tint. I tried all display settings and even formatted the phone but nothing helped. The RED/PINK tint is more distinct while looking at something white(example: a pdf file in gallaery) or while checking emails or while browsing the internet when the background is white.
2. The battery backup is awful. I got only 9 hours out of the battery on a full charge with moderate use and screen on time was 4 hours without playing games.
...due to the screen issue I went to the service center ,they immediately recognized the issue and now arranging for a replacement.
Sad part is that I prebooked the phone just to avail the pre-booking offers..(a) one time screen replacement within one year for just Rs 990 if something goes wrong with the screen.
(b) 10000 payback points that equals to Rupees 2500 which can used to purchase any Samsung galaxy product.
(c) If there is any price reduction/payback offers withing a period of 6 months, the customer would get that price difference as payback points to be used to but other Samsung galaxy/Samsung partner porducts.
But to my astonishments, the Samsung service center people clearly
1.Asked me to talk to the customers care department about the offers for the second product.
2.I wouldn't receive those offers as I would be receiving another Galaxy S6 against the DOA Certificate and those offers are respective of the IMEI number of the handset the offers will not be applicable for the second unit.
3.The dealer from whom I purchased the product(Samsung smart café,Mumbai) told me that they are not responsible for any offers given by Samsung and they will not entertain any after sales issues.
Guys, my request to all Indian customers:: Please check the pink/red issue on the lower part of the screen just in front of the seller/dealer before giving away your hard earned money.

Bought a s6..really happy with it ..one major drawback which this retards at samsung didn't notice ..they removed the sorting option in app drawer ..only manual sorting ..how on earth I m going to sort my 80 apps ..alphabetically sorting was much better

The design is nice but its a couple of steps backwards.
1. Samsung ditched a USB 3.0 to go back to a USB 2.0
2. Removed the flagship MicroSD card slot which is one of the reasons why most people purchase a Samsung phone.
If the back of the phone gets enough heat meaning from a blow dryer or simply from your vehicle dashboard holster the back cover will just pop off. Samsung used adhesive to seal the glass back cover to the aluminum like body with No screws or clips!
I will stick with my Galaxy S5 as the plastic is better for now until Samsung comes up with a durable design and return the MicroSD card slot.

Just saying you had old phones doesn't make your argument as a an undercover troll any less noticeable. If you were truly on your game with phones, you would never us that hyperbole.

I have my own experiences with mobiles. I have been buying all kinds of phones over the years and don't only go with one brand.
Ive had most of the iPhones including the iPhone 6.
Ive had the HTC Desire, ONE X.
Ive had the SGS2, SGS5.
Heaps of old nokias.
I bought the SGS5 and really thought it was awesome. But after a while the ugly android system rears its head.
You start getting those silly advertisements from the corrupt apps you download from the Android 'play' store. You have to use WhatsApp to message half our friends. (which is so ugly and has a subscription). The little flap on the SGS5 starts to need to be replaced even though you are so gentle with your phone. You wait over a year AND STILL DONT HAVE LOLLIPOP. (still dont have it in AUS by the way).
I did like the waterproof thing but like i said the flap breaks so easy. And it takes amazing photos (the SGS5) - and even nicer 1080p videos - but you have to try and time it perfectly. With the iPhone, you can literally take a good photo in 2 secs. No effort. 8/10 photo everytime. Samsung you can get 10/10 but it takes many attempts.
Look, I will be honest - on the way to a meeting today, I saw the launch of the SGS6 at the vodafone shop so I took a quick detour. It feels great. Like an iPhone finally. It has white gold colours. Like an iPhone. It has a proper finger print scanner. Like an iPhone. But one thing ill be doing this time - is sticking with my iPhone. I really can't go back to android anymore.

The S6 looks like a galaxy which is Samsung's design. But it has a new frame design.
The iPhone 6 users the note 1 design and frame. And Samsung has headphone jacks on the bottom years before apple.
And how silly of Samsung to think that the most advanced and powerful technology with best display, best camera besides the 3 monster sensor champions, best memory and so forth in one of the highest quality and most durable builds will sell. Silly silly company.

The same mistake was done by Nokia, when it was about to fall and now its Samsung's turn. They say its new... HAHAHAHAHA... Samsung can not produce new design on its own as it has never... The design has always been of iPhone, that it has been using and now the last two concepts of "no memory card" and "fixed battery" of iPhone!!! Dear Samsung, it seems to be your ending days... And as for the gsmarena.com, I can bet on it, that Samsung has been paying/ bribing it for boasting about its non-noticeable features...
