LG G4 review: Sharp and shooter

22 May 2015
Flagships get better with every generation but some of last year’s are as good as reborn. The LG G4 improves on the three best features of its predecessor: design, screen, the camera – and does so decisively. It adopts a G Flex curve, but makes...

Three of them. Natural, saturated, and vivid. Something like that.
So I'm guessing the G4 should have that too.

But nobody has mentioned it so I had been saying otherwise until I recently discovered this

Though in the CPU department it works out because it throttles less. But still for a flagship the SoC is not the top of the line at all this time around

And even went backwards on the display.

Or that they are doing something wrong to appreciate something that useful. That's ridiculous. And it's something that should just be a user right. It's more practical for the people that do care.

This 2015 flagship is way behind it's midrange sibling LG AKA in terms of battery life. AKA talktime web browsing video playback and endurance 73h 23:20h 10:38h 11:45h, G4 16:40h 7:54h 7:23h and endurance 54h. What happened LG? An extra free battery is not the solution.

for me, it have some other disadvantages, not a SoC.
                          1- too big
                          2- weak battery
                          3- price
yes, it's good, nice, flagship....but, why it costs so much more then G2!?

why is this disadvantage :"Chipset isn't top of the range"!?
what, all phones must have only best performance SoC?
what to say then to all mid and low -edge phones, do you need to write same as their disadvantage!?

ok, i understand flagship must be best, but, does LG have something better?
i did not see it....so his is their best, true flagship.
so, somebody else have better spec, but...you can choose.
HTC have stornger SoC, Sammy too....but Apple doesn't, as many others.
so, i don think SD808 can be disadvantage, it update, and big one to SD 801.

Starting from G2 and then G3...used multiple handsets of the above models...the mail camera glass self developing scratches. ...GPS antenna issue...continues...the most pathetic is LG service. ..just hopeless.

Wow.. Didn't expect the battery life to be much worse than the G3 (54H vs 63H). Well.. at least it's removable. Too bad LG didn't include the charger to fast-charge it.

I think it's a decent phone. If I was in the market for a flagship I would definitely consider it. The fact it has a Snapdragon 808 wouldnt make a difference to everyday performance and wouldn't affect my decision.

#TRYLGG4 this phone is awesome. Best phone at the moment each other phone i tried had flawed tech or slow software and the crashing issue if overloading the phone doing multiple things at once the G4 never crashed and if it does you can just remove the battery and start again. The S6 and iPhone 6 or 6 plus would crash and freeze on white screen had to go to shops to get them reset
