AnonD-391800, 23 May 2015It takes exactly 1.5-2 h to fully charge z2 from 1% to 100%... more sometime 100% is not accurate you still need to wait for about 10-20 minutes more before you unplug the charger.
My Z3 takes more or less 3 hours to get full 100%

Moving backwards without even achieveing long enough battery life before that (Galaxy S, Note and Iphone - none of them could provide a real 1-day usage).
Manufacturers and consumers=officially insane.

Every flagship this year has battery issues. Not any have spectacular battery life.
Is it because of lollipop?? Or because of chipsets (SDs only)??.
I think kitkat is a lot better than lollipop.

S6/Edge still the phone to beat overall!!
Screen - S6 ( more pixels and brighter)
Power/performance - S6 (efficient, snappy and NEW)!
Battery - S6 (smaller but longer life)
Design - S6 (cow hide or premium)?

There is one major drawback of having a swappable battery, it needs a removeable back cover which, in my opinion, rather spoils the whole appearance of the phone. My Z Ultra has a unibody design and makes it look stunning especially with the glass both front and back. However having a removeable back cover would no doubt have spoilt the overall look of the device.

AnonD-398429, 23 May 2015I think you missed the very important reason why most of us... moreI agree with both points being made, the battery does lose some strength overtime and secondly having an extra battery on hand when you're out somewhere is of great benefit. Just from my own experience I prefer to charge the battery hence why I end up charging twice a day and secondly I haven't had the need to replace a weak or dead battery up till now. I have had a Nokia N900 for the last 5 years, admittedly moderate use for the last 3 years, an LG 4xHD for the last 3 years all on moderate use (hated the phone) and my current phone, a Sony Z Ultra for the last year on heavy use but up to now I haven't had to replace any of the batteries, maybe I am just lucky.

Did you know that your battery does have a life span there is a limit time of maximum of 2 years( moderate user) and its getting weaker by that time you don't have to go somewhere look for a technician and pay him to replace your battery with a new one
Also another advantage is you don't need to wait more than hour to re charge your battery once it drain.
You can simply swap the extra one while charging the other one there is a universal charger too.
