Dodo, 02 Oct 2015Still the best phone overall out there and the sales number... moreYeah but some prefer being like mechanics, with their ROMs and what not, others like to be free as a bird, while you get those that can't afford to pay for music and like getting it illegally. Some can't believe people still pay for music lol. Some are professional photographers too remember?

AnonD-329938, 02 Oct 20153d touch calls more or less context menu, on android, insid... moreTalk like a wise? Right. Ok. Moving along, wait, lol... Ok. These 2 technologies stem from the same context. But they are not the same. Keeping up? Samsung and others have done it before. They didn't make it mainstream. Lol... Apple. Will, why, good question, 1 they're Apple duh right? Loadsa iSheep brothers and sister in my family bro. Yup I said it. Lol anyways 2. The way they have incorporated the technology is firstly and INTRODUCTION to the tech, and even in its infancy it's already making waves, and it will become a standard iPhone 7 up for max enjoyment of the OS, it is to get the user comfortable with it. Secondly the way apple have incorporated it feels intuitive and quickly becomes a habit, pick up and old iPhone 6 Plus after using it and you notice it, you miss it. Third up... Drumroll Apple speaks the world listens and things change. Proven fact. Don't believe me? It even has droid boys like yourself talking about it. You guys can't stop lol, meanwhile we're enjoying it.

Still the best phone overall out there and the sales numbers are proof of it.
The camera is getting rated very highly elsewhere, on par with the S6 Edge+ and the LG....

Tom-Helge, 02 Oct 2015And for those who thinks 4 / 8 CPU-cores isn't needed on a ... moreWhat happens when developers simply don't develop for Android? When the app is simply not there to take advantage of in the first place? Also, I don't think you have seen the 6s vs s6 in multitasking. But meh unto each his own :) thanks for the comment contribution.

The iPhone crowd have some financ... moreNo. No your not, what you're trying to do is make a point, whining in other words, like you lost your pacifier or something. The dude I was replying to literally said he used a cheap Chinese phone, I used a little English trick called satire in my reply, which was in context. Not a show of superiority. But hey you felt like whining I get it. That's what droid boys do. Ciao

AnonD-322352, 02 Oct 2015Better future-proofing. People don't spend $800 on a phone ... moreI don't see any problems with 2+ year old androids. As long as it is running 4.0 it'll be fine.

AnonD-362866, 02 Oct 2015If your gonna reply do so in context, he said that he used ... moreI am replying in context. The iPhone crowd have some financial 'holier than thou' attitude despite their phones costing around the same in the flagship market and the fact that the materials and manufacturing cost is around the same as a 'cheap' android. And let's be honest most smartphones are really Chinese smartphones despite who or where the OEM comes from. I don't see an Apple assembly plant in the US. I don't get why people are happy with their iPhones not losing value through depreciation either. OK it makes for great resale value but in the Android world the massive depreciation is usually due to A) manufacturing costs becoming cheaper B) advancements in technology making previous generations redundant and C) competition. It just means that even waiting around for it to go down in price is usually in vain and you can't use another iOS device because no other OEM else makes them. All you're doing is feeding Apple more money and are more than happy to do it. Do what you want just don't financially stereotype people because they don't have an iPhone. I'd like to not be a hypocrite and not do the same (albeit in reverse) but I've yet to see evidence that I'm wrong.

AnonD-322352, 02 Oct 2015For once, check the off-screen tests benchmarks. Spoile... moreSpoiler alert! What are you going to do with all these highly optimised cores and this very nice GPU? Play your games at 720p at 60Hz (which is pretty easy to achieve)? Upload your photos to Instagram? The problem is, yes, you have lovely specs for an Apple device but the OS is limited. iOS is less of a computing experience. It feels like a more advanced version of an old PDA OS whereas Android has more of a mini PC OS feel to it. Some people like it, some don't.

And for those who thinks 4 / 8 CPU-cores isn't needed on a smartphone, you should read this and understand that the 'big.LITTLE' CPU architect that is used in the Galaxy S6 series and the Note 5 isn't about maximum performance. Read this to understand that there are tons of benefits to have a 4 or 8 core CPUs.
http://www.androidauthority.com/fact-or-fiction-android-apps-only-use-one-cpu-core-610352/
And this was written at the end there: Clearly Android apps are able to take advantage of multi-core processors and big.LITTLE allows the scheduler to pick the best core combination for the current workload. If you still hear people saying things like 'but a smartphone doesn't need 8 cores' then just throw your hands-up in despair, as it means they don't understand Heterogeneous Multi-Processing and they don't understand that big.LITTLE is about power efficiency and not overall performance.
And to add something to that aswell, then i can say that if you really want to have a serious multitasking / multiwindow capabilities on your smartphone or tablet, you can't use a CPU with just 2 cores. There will be alot of limitations for the multitasking with just 2 CPU-cores.
So please enjoy your dual-core CPU on your iPhones with alot of limitations while we with 4 and 8 CPU-cores can enjoy whatever app without worrying about any limitations.
