I have NEVER seen 8 alternative phones listed below a review. It clearly shows a bias to the fact that you are not getting the same price in Europe. And not all of it is true - the Huawei P8 for instance is AT LEAST 530 + shipping. 599-725 most places

Why are you people comlaining about batery life, on paper its still bigger than the iphone 6s,
At least HTC one a9 hits the 2000 bar.
I like how the review guy sadly and most likely unwillingly sarcasticly compared one a9 model to "other phones" *cough* ... iphone ... *cough*
It's a fine phone, with decent specs, not high but decent.
And lets not start barking about prices people. Its kind of funny when we quarrel about decent phone which price is still in 3 digits and at the same time with no thoughts buy a 4 digit phone in a heart beat.

Just what HTC tries to do for this phone. It just copies Apple design and try to make it like iPhone looking. This usually was done by some of the 3rd tier Chinese companies a few years back. Now 1st tier and 2nd tier Chinese companies all have their own design, plus they have their own unique or advantage to make their phones more attractive, such as larger battery, or lower price. I just do not see any unique and advantage this one has.
The battery is not removable, why do they put such a small battery ?
The phone is not better than nexus 5x, why do they price it higher than nexus 5x ?

Curious as to why we haven't seen a review on the nexus 6p yet? I'm really interested in the results gsmarena get in the battery life tests.

I think HTC is using the GS4 panel there... to lower costs...
I had a GS4 an the display was very good, but used to drain a lot of battery...

For the people who say that A9 inspired by iPhone Design or copycat or just throw some words which they dont even think before they speak or too blind to see or totally Clueless!
1. Antenna Strips over the back? TOO OBVIOUS!!! just look at One M7 (2013)
2. Flat Back? just look at Desire series!
3. 2.5D curved edge front cover glass?HTC Droid DNA (end of 2011) Hello???
4. Circular Camera??? look at M7 / M8
5.Circular flash? look at M7 once more
6.Dual tone flash? M8 maybe?

HTC A9 is actually good and nice smartphone, BUT for 600e??? I can get galaxy S6, M9, LG g4... It should cost A LOT less. With this price it's going to fail... hard...

The M9 is 500 euros in Netherlands so there is not 150 euros gap in prices.

HTC trying to rejuvenate their image as 'polished android,' should be interesting to see whether they take more iOS users wanting android, or other android users wanting premium imaging.
Probably more likely that it blows up in their face :P
