Market research showed the reversible connector was an advantage frequently pointed-out by Apple users and the single most glaring thing they noticed/missed when using a non-Apple product.
In short, stop pulling stuff out of your butt. This is just a way to justify the model that will come in the next 6mo, and guess what... IT WILL HAVE USB-C.

Compare Z3 to X performance - has same number of pixels and both have qualcomm cpu and adreno gpu. Not sure how that warrants a reduction from 3100 to 2700 battery,even with minor net benefits from the 820 and Qnovo tech.

I don't see the point of USB C as of now, so I'd rather not let it have...
Let me pinpoint what I find Sony lacking in:-
1. Audio quality. The pioneer of walkman must give better performance.
I'm not talking about loudspeaker or High Res Audio, I'm talking about basic audio quality in terms of dynamic range, frequency, etc.
2. Camera. Sony should have the best in market. We expect a lot from Sony. They've just announced f 2.0 cam phone.
Guess what, Indian Gionee announced a f1.8, which is better, and Samsung a f 1.7!
3. Innovation: Sony has it in some amounts, and I would love if they improve on it,
Rest all is ok with Sony, and in fact, I would love to own a Sony phone in future. I love their waterproofing and all too. I also like their love for 1080p & 720p, because not all need more than that.

Ever since the Z1( or Z1s in the US market for t-mobile), i already thinking that they should've put wireless charging in their phone when you IP68(IP69). But, no they didn't, and then they proceed to out the Z2 and Z3 6 months period between each with a minor upgrade on inside(hardware).
And when the z5 out, what is new in the z5? A new camera unit, that's it. (The US market can't buy both Z5 and Z5 Premium from Sony's own site, and the Z5 version that selling in the US market via other are without the fingerprint!)
Sony are always being the catch up( and at some point you'll that they're trying to do things like Apple, give you stuff little by little each year, but Sony is the worst kind)

regs, 23 Feb 2016Displays are pretty bad. Way too blueish...This is true, there's a noticeable blue tint on the screens. Could be the camera causing it or the screens really have that tint.

There is that thing called market examination which tells companies that consumers do not care about usb type C ( else samsung or apple would most definitely use it too), nor is wirelless charging that convenient to consumers. People do not choose to buy for those reasons cause there are more important features they value... There is a list of consumer priorities, and seems usb type c and q wireless is on bottom for most consumers....
And I agree, tbose are, at this moment, most unimportant features when buying a smartphone today...
So dont you worry and enjoy your phone, or buy a lg g5 if usb type C is your thingie, but oh it lacks q wirelles. Or buy a galaxy s7, but oh it lacks usb type C...

If that's nothing, maybe you need someone to reminds you that none of the Sony's high- end got wireless charging too. Is that also nothing? Sell high-end phones with IP68 but no type-c and no wireless charging. The damn Z5( US market version doesn't have the fingerprint too). Z5 Premium isn't available in US market, and Z5 can't buy from Sony's own site in the US! All of that is nothing and that is why Sony is NOTHING( as a Z3 user, i feel sad and disappointed in Sony)
