This fone made nokia regain my trust again. I had bad experience with my n80. Then i disposed it. I bought n95 somewhat hesitant. But in the end I had had no regrets exchanging my k810 and p990 for this one. Whala! Good job nokia. I had 2 batteries for this monster. Stop the moaning.

First off, I work for o2... and I don't find them anything special, reasons being:
1, Why buy a 5meg camera phone? Buy a digital camera! Megapixels isn't everything in a photo/camera - it's image quality, lens apature etc... Take a VGA photo on a N95 as well as a 5MP picture and look at them both - the same? Print them off postcard size - the same?
2, Its a brick.
3, Symbian - 'nuff said
4, Pricey! Not only the handset but Sat Nav requires subscription with Nokia, yeah o2 provide the maps but thats all, not the navigation package.
Blah, not having one, K810 takes trumps for me =D

I've got this phone cos I only have the best of everything. I've had a 10gig memory card imported from Japan cos I have the worlds biggest music collection. The only problem is it's a bit heavy so when it's in my trouser (prada) pocket it makes me limp.

had it a month now and im still very pleased, as well all know battery life is not very good, however ive no issues at all with anything. Like a lot of people here i work for a large phone company and so see 1st hand how phones work on a larger scale (i.e if they are always coming back with issues etc). Seeing how the n73, n80 were recieved made me doubt the n95, based almost entirely on the software.
However we have had very few returned and demand is still high (although bolstered by price haha), over all the phone has been brilliant so far and i love it

Dear GSMarena,
In your review of N95, under 5 heading i.e Telephone, ringtones etc, u have mentioned, that when a N95 receives a call, one can see the name, thumbnail and number ? can you please explain how can one see the number, i have been trying to get that, but not possible.
Kindly revert back if you can,

AIKON : you cant expect a phone zoom without a optical zoom to be that clear on full zoom, you should compare it to other device for example Sony cybershot, n95 is still better off for the zoom.
And for your info n95 is digital zoom not optical.
if you want a nice and clear zooming phone, get N93 with 3x optical zoom. you get it eh ?

I'd been waiting for the N95 to come out in Australia since late 2006. The main feature I was after was the 5MP camera. I checked it out at a local store yesterday and was quite disappointed. While there is 5MP of data, the lens lets it down, especially at full zoom. For anybody who was sold on the 5MP feature make sure you check out the photo quality on a PC monitor before you make a call. So far as I'm concerned, it's a thumbs down.
