Maybe if it's released internationally for about $400, I would get it. But the Axon 7 just is superior in pretty much all aspects.

As expected from motorola is new innovation: clip on devices. Downside: old motorola will put bigger battery for comfortable over slim design. Google & lenovo fail to keep up

Anonymous, 30 Jul 2016And headphone jackBut a weaker DAC in terms of loudness. So an adapter plus 3.5mm on the Moto Z pumps more volume than any Samsung phone yet (check other reviews as well). Screens are almost identical with the Galaxy edging out just a wee bit. Squeezing in a 2600 mAh battery (the same as a M8). The only factual points would be camera performance (which may get better with Z Force as well as a few software tweeks) and the IP rating on the S7. But you have to live with TouchWiz (which I abhor) and the Moto Z Force would guarantee Shatterproof display tech as well as identical battery life to the S7 Edge (while the Edge adds a higher risk of cracking). This is a complete package whether anyone hates it or not. The pros outweigh the cons. My first Android was the Note II and I happily gave it up for a Moto G 1st generation just because of Samsung's crappy UI and really laggy every day performance. And well no Lollipop.

So below average battery backup, below average low light shots and I am sure this phone will come at much higher cost than OnePlus 3, so why would I buy it again? HTC 10 seems the better choice isn't it? Especially for the camera part! And I was badly waiting for this phone's review/release!!!

The author and many users make the mistake of not understanding their own biases. They use their phone a lot and think only in those terms.
There are people like myself though who find phones useful but have better things to do than have their nose in their phone all day. For us you can't get real work done on a phone but we want to have it handy for when it's needed.
In that sense this phone is perfect. Its slimness make it very portable and unintrusive yet functional with a large screen. Battery life isn't critical but on long trips the attachable batteries are a lifesaver. The lack of a headphone port is irrelevant except in that it lets the phone be slimmer. Carrying around a fatter phone becuase of a port that hardly ever get used would be annoying.
This is a great phone for grown ups.

Pretty poor battery. This is what you get, people who insist thin phones. Thin phone = Smaller battery = Shorter usage. Shorter usage = more charging = faster degradation of the battery = only 300 cycles. Meaning if you drain this daily, you'd have only less than a year before you really start to see the battery weakening.
That magnetic battery pack doesn't help so much. Might as well get the Force with 3500mAh than this silly thin thing.

Why is there no sunlight legibility test? Also, i think the oneplus3 is better buy considering the money. The moto mods won't save the day. Goodbye MOTOROLA. You will be remembered. You legend.
