Samsung S7 Edge is better then both ,but between these two pixel is overall better phone ,im huawei fan and can wait for Mate 9

And no; if you want to take great pictures, you either go for an iPhone (easy mode) or a Lumia phone (advanced mode - manual controls).
But anyway, having used Android for so many years, I can't believe that people (fanboys) still say that it's better than iOS or Windows. Not a chance. You can't get the same level of reliability and easy of use that iOS and Windows offer. Not to mention smart features and the user interface design - which are fairly low quality on Android.
Went from S6 to iPhone 6 last year, and from the iPhone to the 950XL now. I couldn't believe it, but using Windows is so much better than the other two. No more force closing apps, no more restarts or factory resets, no more mess in the filesystem (like with Android), no more pop-up screens under error screens (Android), no more Exchange server sync problems (like with Android), battery life is great, etc.

You should make a iPhone 7 VS Pixel. The pixel phones are practically same, but iPhones have differences between standard and plus variant. They even have differences between 32 GB and 128 GB. This doesn't happen with Pixel.

Why not they include S7e and LG V20 also vivo xplay5 and Nubia z11.LG v20 and pixel will rule in camera phone competition

Can we have the RAW files from the camera?
This test only shows the processed JPG results not the whole picture(pun not intended).
The iPhone's camera showing less details could be due to a worse sharpening/over de-noising post-processing or it could be because of a lower lens quality - there is no way we can tell from the JPG files. The stock camera apps are just BS!

Both are not going to win beauty pageant. I agree.. Except if the Pixel wears the white-blue dress.. I like the Pixel design only with the "really blue" color option. Too bad it's limited edition.

Camera quality is subjective in these tests. I can't tell which images captured the scenes more accurately because I wasn't there.
Perhaps next time, it would be better to use a third DSLR with manual controls as a control group?
Just because an image is more saturated and pleasing to the eye doesn't mean it's necessarily better - depends on your own tastes I guess.
I can post process and image if I need it punchier.

Lol that second HDR example on the i7 is downright terrible. And also, on a more positive note, the Pixel XL's HDR+ in both daylight and nighttime is just incredible. It works like magic in low light, very impressed. Can't say the same abt the i7's camera though.
