I laugh at how the review says it's GPU performance was disappointing. It's only an 8 core version of the G71 here, and the G71 is available in up to 32 cores ? according to its website.

Mate 8 is better than Mate 9. More battery and cheaper, performance is not much different, 16nm Kirin 960 is not efficiency.

thanks in advancebattery life on highest stands and excessive use is still 1 day.. So with lower use and brightness, would mean longer battery life. Only video playback, is kinda on the mate 9's battery.. But hey the quick charger does wonders ;).

Mate 9 has 2 speakers,one is at the bottom while the other is at the earpiece.You are not very well informated.

Yeap.Huawei Honor Note 8.The 6.6 screen is real addictive, you get used to it in a few days, no problem to hold it.GPU and CPU is slower and camera is worse as well but its quality enough, Iam demanding, trust me.Camera excells at night with tripod, you wouldnt believe.Play games, no problem.Battery 2 days is normal. Sound quality top notch - headphones and repro as well. My previous phone was Samsung Note 4. And the price is really low for this beast...
