Nick.B, 30 Mar 2017is the g6 camera on par with v20 or better or worse ?It´s bad!!!! If you want a good camera, don´t buy this phone!!! The selfie camera is only 5MP and I haven´t seen such bad quality since my old Galaxy S2!!

Totally underwhelming phone that I have bought and it´s going straight into eBay. Nothing to show for it, other than the big, ok display. But every phone has one nowadays. Also every phone has a good camera nowadays. At least every phone worth €700+ at launch. Or so you would expect.... NOT THE LG G6: the main camera is ok. But OH MY GOD the 5 MP selfie camera!!! I haven´t seen such crap since at least 2008!!!!
And the phone is heavy. Man, it feels heavy...!
I am keeping my good old and versatile LG G5 with its great camera (main AND selfies) and light weight.

This phone is total UnImpressive. Instead of an OLED display, they went to IPS and Instead of SD835 they put SD821 which is from 2016. Just waste of money.

Boy was it a bad idea, I can't talk and get on the internet at the same time and I lose service in the middle of town if I'm going downhill. My screen cracks with every drop (4 times now) and the volume automatically adjusts at random times, so either people are shouting at me or I can't hear them. The good is the battery lasts forever, and the phone itself is fast as long as you have service and the camera is fast and amazing. Overall I wish I hadn't given the droid to my nephew because I would have switched back along time ago. I wouldn't get this phone again unless they offered free service with it. I can't wait to get a different and I probably won't wait 2 years to get a new one. I loved the lg g3 that I used to have but I don't think I'll pick another lg again. 2 stars

Has anyone got this phone and would you recommend it!? ive heard reviews about it scratching easily due to the gorilla glass 3 is this true!? and whats it like for playing games any lag or any other problems!?

It is now around 400 Euro in DE single sim model though :-(, if it also been dual sim, it would of been perfect. Maybe next time LG learns to put all the features for on all phones not limiting them by region.

S8 is also incredible they are both fast browsing but galaxies edges are prone of amoled burn and screen beak easy even without dropping them in the end they worth buying..

I'm getting the g6 as a replacement for my oooold but was still my favorite v10 from att who suffered, died, and will more than likely be buried. Before that, I had a g3 that suffered the same fate. Infinite bootlooping. Here's hoping the g6 last at least a year.

A warning to anyone thinking of buying the LG G6 and V20... The glass covering the rear cameras has a design fault and just randomly shatters!!.. After some research it is a known issue. The rep at Fido here in Canada said she has already had a few other customer return theirs, as well as the instore model suffering from the same fate. I've only had the phone a few weeks and now have to wait whilst it's sent away for repairs!

I cannot see any mention at all (within this review) on which version of the phone was tested.
This is an incredibly important piece of information, since the 64GB version of the phone has the improved microphones (better sound quality when recording video and talking on speakerphone) as well as the upgraded audio DAC (which should have a major impact on audio performance).
Is somebody able to please confirm which version was tested in this review?
