LG G6 vs. Galaxy S8 vs. Xperia XZ Premium: Three's a company

20 May 2017
It's pick-a-flagship time and these are probably the three best phones of the season. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and the LG G6 are already available worldwide, while the Xperia XZ Premium is just about starting to hit the shelves - so it won't be all that painful a wait if the phone proves worthy.

AnonD-585282, 30 May 2017Yeeeaaahhhh... Samsung is not saying but others are saying ... moreAgain....what are you going on about? Have you recently missed some medication you are supposed to be taking or something?

The 'others' are saying it because it's what Samsung themselves have claimed.....do you follow? Is that simple enough for you?

I'm getting a strong impression that it doesn't take much to either confuse or annoy you (a clear sign that you spend much of your time in a state of both), so like I said earlier, get some help.

No, the Note 7 problems were not to do with battery longevity, but in looking to correct those problems, and begin rebuilding consumer trust, Samsung have implemented features to extend battery life in the long term.

Look I'm sorry this news seems to somehow offend you, but that's your problem. Suggest you get some help, quickly.

Ok we got it, they would. Again, when they do, I'll tell U.
BTW N7s issue has nothing to do with lifespan, its not a drift.

Am sure you are making sense. Go to a funeral or something, you'll surely get condolence.

Second, your not even getting close to making any sense, just rambling incoherently.

Third, I've linked to an article which highlights the point I was making, I am not saying Samsung has implemented any 'Qvono' equivalent tech, but it does appear they have taken some steps towards increasing battery longevity (which is essentially qvono's sole purpose).

Makes sense that they would when you think about it really, what with the Note 7 fiasco and all.

They've even gone as far as to take considerable steps toward improving battery longevity, according to Samsung users can now expect their S8 batteries to hold 95% charge even after a year of standard use:

This seems to bring them in line with Sony's licenced Qvono tech, I don't know why Samsung are not making a bigger deal of this....

They have a bad habit of shutting down camera and video recording when the phone get started to heat up. That's ridiculous. I haven't seen that kind of behavior in any other brands of flagship. Plus sony 20+ mega pixels camera is a disaster when you takes photos at night. I really embarrassed in front of my friend when i take night time photos. Only thing that impress me is the durability of sony. (i have Xperia s for more than 4years without replacing any thing, battery is little down but still hold on). Except that Sony is still lag behind. I think those are the reasons why sony can't compete with new chinese brands even though they were in smartphone game for long time. Sorry for poor English
