HTC U11 camera may be better than the S8+'s one by a hair margin but the overal design of U11 is so much ugly that for me it's a deal breaker.
Not to mention inferior HTC LCD screen which is simply not match for Samsung Amoled display. Also Exynos 8895 is better SOC with faster GPU and better power efficiency.
HTC has the upper hand in speakers department but it doesn't metter once one plug in the headphones.

hi bros.for sure htc U11is better in main camera and srlfi shooter,but s8 has better in video recording(but not more and u11 has many advantages in video too).
totally htc U11 is real winner with no doubt.

HTC way of capturing is like that of sony - least amount of blur, point is when is there time to use slow shutter, there is time also to set it manually. Also way to embarrass stereo flagships worthy 800, mainly mono ones(pixel,iphone) probably now hiding in the corner, 3D audio using 4mics is whole new dimension even from stereo ones. Just this and 145dB top in lumias 950 is enough to have a fun watching captured videos, still mics are probably the same as samsung,lg ones - thats up to ~135dB.

S8+ camera is evenly matched with the HTC U's... May be if its not too liking is processed too sharply... However, guys watchout for the note 8's camera... Just imagine s8+'s camera is still using last year camera and it is already one of the best camera this year. Imagine note 8 camera with brand new lens and sensor.... It will be mind blowing!

I think htc u11 has great camera as the results have proved that but for my personal taste i would like the photos to be little bit more sharper ( because s8+ looks a little sharper than u11 ) and for video the dynamic range and stabilization could have been a little better.Thats my opinion otherwise the u11 is a great camera.

I've certainly found my next phone. Sorry LG but HTC it is for me.
I think some people need to realise how amazing a job the manufacturer's are doing. They are creating cameras that rival many point point and shoot cameras but have only 6mm depth and around 3mm lens diameter to work with.

2 most images captured in phone are Posted on social media. People simply prefer more saturated colours. And coming to low light. Many people go to restaurants or clubs at night don't they? That's where Sony fails miserably ie in handling multiple lightning sources indoor and balancing exposure to make image look pleasing
