Samsung Galaxy Note8 review

The Note8 is here and we can't help but feel the tension rising, especially in Europe where this is the first Note device to officially land in two years. Some time it's been, so a lot is riding on the Galaxy Note8.

I am 99% sure that galaxy s8 has HDR support. You might wanna look into that and change that in your conclusion section. other than that, good review really enjoyed reading it

Nothing wrong with galaxy note since samsung put this series higher price than regular galaxy s series. If we are not afford to buy then don't buy. Simple isn't it?

I can accept that this website can give fair reviews because it also focus on smartphones that don't sell in the US, and gives recommendations on those including Sony. And over here u can have a much more precise review especially for camera unlike AA, since AA only shows the overall photo and don't talk about noisy artifacts and low-light performance regarding noise reduction either

Otherwise don't put words into the reviewers' mouths. They did say that the XA1 and XZ1 battery lives are good. And what does Sony have to do with this review? Too many overzealous Sony fans lurking on this website.

                  My S8 hasn't received a software update since long and it hangs a lot. Samsung phones are crap. That's it. I am moving to Nokia probably

If this were any other phone or manufacturer such as Sony the writer would have torn shreds off it about poor battery life, terrible ergonomics and a substandard camera performance in dark conditions (pointing your phone at an object that is blaring out a tonne of light is not a good test)

While other literature tells that keeping the charge above 80 or 90% will even increase the cycle to more than 2000 cycles (if my memory serves me right)!

                      That's why I'll be getting a power case right away to keep it constantly above 50% with just one press of a button. Zerolemon seems to have nailed it with the least dimensions:

                      I'll get two units right away, and they will usually come out with a bigger capacity like 8500 mAh which can charge 1.5 times the internal battery.

                        Even the average iphone has steteo.
                        A 1000 dollars phone does not.

                        There is no point of using ip68 if audio is not good enough without earphones. Many ppl listen to music during shower.
                        A 2013 phone of Htc or Sony has better audio system.

I've never even had to use any of the spare tips Samsung bundles with the Note phones. So, there's no added cost with using an S Pen. Also, if you only want it for the display and not the pen, just don't use the pen... :)

Samsung's phones aren't aggressively shutting down background processes. You have an option to manually shut everything down with the memory optimiser, but it lets Android handle background threads by itself unless you use that.
                            Anyone constantly killing background threads, like those old pre-2.0 app killers, will increase battery usage as Android will restore those apps to the background.
                            There are features on Samsung flagships to suspend everything, to give the foreground all the performance, something even Microsoft has copied with the Game Mode on Windows. Though, those features doesn't kill anything to work. It's mostly used for the Oculus VR mode.

                                the presenter in video could speak slower, clearer. no one forced him to complete the video fast. such video could be on youtube as a record forever, could make it better, for anyone on earth to watch anytime.

                                    All selfie sample I have seen so far have high exposition.
                                    HDR fails.

                                      I just want it for the display. Can't they change the philosophy and make an Edge/Plus with the Note's display? How many year will utilize a costly pen? It is costly in battery and price.
