Anon, 23 Sep 2017The phone can't even fit in your jeans pocket. IAfter seeing samsungs with 6 inches all the way. 4.7 is tiny wtf. 4.7 inch only iphone and sony. And yes even with big bezels, it feels like iphone 6 has a bigger screen than galaxy a3 2017. Weird, I know.

Lie, 21 Sep 2017So display mate mentioned that note 8 can go up to 1200 nit... moreIt does go up to 1200 nits. The Galaxy Note 5 could go up to 860 nits and did well in direct sunlight. The S8 goes up to 1000. So the new Note 8 can easily go up to 1200. Many reviewers say it's perfectly visible in broad day light which i believe.

This may be the only phone on the market that is truly worth 1,000 dollars if you really think about it. (USA).
It offers all the top of the line specs and basically every feature imaginable, including the dreaded Bixby assistant which most people hate lol. There's not much you won't find on this device.
What really stands out is the beautiful massive 6.3 inch infinity display, optically optimized dual camera set up & S-Pen of course.. all that separates it from the rest in my opinion.
With that being said i did not pay full price for mine. I was able to get someone's email that was a previous Note 7 owner, paid them $40 so i could use it and got the $425 discount. I paid $560 including 1-day shipping and all the goodies they add. (128GB micro sd, and fast wireless charger).
Despite being the best all rounder i can't say if i would of payed full price for it or any other device. I just happened to juice the system and got it for almost half price lol.

So display mate mentioned that note 8 can go up to 1200 nits with autobrghtiness what a lie knew that they paid by Samsung to bolish Samsung crappy Amoled technology.

All I need to bring is a USB type C charging cable which is smaller and lighter than the Note 3 extra batteries.

Zerolemon is still months away from selling the battery case it's teasing now. For the meantime, just like all sheep, I'll be carrying a powerbank for it to last a day. Far from the maximum 12 hours SOT I can get from extended batteries over a 30-hour stretch.

hi, this is great that I can find the telephoto test pictures also in the camera comparison. There is a question though: the 2x zoom telephoto images were made from a distance 2 times as long as the normal camera pictures? (Because the images have the same content, like not just the center but the edges are at the same location)

well done samsung. but i still find no compelling reason to change from my galaxy note 4 to this latest note 8. if im correct the size got bigger and alot heavier, should be uncomfortable to pocket on its own. now when u add a cover it gets even harder. good luck to those who would be getting this new note...

Why didn't the review mention if the Sound on LG is better or the same on Note 8? Also why doesn't GSMArena do the following for the battery, since S & Note are the only devices that suffer from variation problems in batteries due to chipsets differences:
Have 2 Note8s one Snapdragon and the other Exynose. Download the same exact apps (The most used apps on daily bases by people), do the same exact thing through the day on both phones under the same conditions and then telling us what happens at the end of the day!
This will let me know should I go to ebay to buy a Exynose or settle with SD835.
