Trying to be Apple so bad, yet getting destroyed by iPhones on speed tests, getting destroyed by other Android phones on speed tests and some other aspects too (Samsung Galaxy S8 mostly) and to make situation worse - those phones were produced BEFORE Pixel 2.

After studying the GSMArena'd reviews of Pixel 2 and Oneplus 5T I finally made up my mind. Pixel 2 order is placed at Carphonewarehouse and will be here in two days. Thank you GSMArena!

hear the developers always leave the baromoetro without integrated thermometer the real smart phones that developers do not respect the tastes of the users of the motorcycle X2da genracion unfortunately have eliminated the environment thermometer without any reason and the humidity that disrespect to users these sensors as the ambient thermometer should be a requirement in smart phones as gps and as the barometer in these smartphones with barometer from 2018 onwards should have a thermometer of habitation which the need of the manufacturers to eliminate the thermometer of environment???

But they need to buck up on the design of the smartphone, because people these days wouldn't want this kind of front and back design, and if I compare the front between even the old XPERIA XZ, I would say that even thought both of them have almost the same bezels, the XPERIA XZ looks much better to be honest

You should never buy a phone today based on the promise of a software tomorrow. And make no mistake: I do not believe that Google’s software changes are going to alter the bad experience of this screen.

Just wait for one plus 5t or you can also wait for thx u11 plus which was originally happen to be released as Pixel 2 xl at much cheaper price with lots of features. Pixel series is not worth buying at least in India as it is double overpriced here compared to US.

Looks like a big phone with a little screen, no headphone jack, recording mono sound of videos, wtf?!
Yes, camera is good, i get that but the old pixels camera was good so what's new?

But it is not a true factual representative of cameras capabilities, only a presentation of how different phone companies pre set their point n shoot camera feature.
Phone camera without proper manual should de facto get negative points for that lacking feature alone.
Cameras are not about point and shoot only, but more about extra features and capabilities that make it better or worse than some other, and so should phone cameras be assesed in same way.
Automode is just a preset-based feature of a camera, not its essence.
Its essence is what range of results it is actually capable to accomplish with its optics, hardware and software alltogether.

Most of users don't use manual mode and when it comes to quick snap, you can't go for manual settings, So it's fair to use auto mode.

Only automode tests...everywhere.
And I concure, with manual mode on most phones today you can set same ISO, same shutter and same exposure in test...for better compare of real camera capability between phones.
But heck, iphone cant do that so....they test them only in automodes. Oh, with an extra out-of--automode portrait mode feature protocol excursion...since iphone got that it "needed" to be included right? (looking at you Dxo)

Hmmm, better batterylife on XZ1? I thought OLED was the more efficient one...
Mind you, Im doing a compare just because same size, same battery maH, same OS....
Cant believe they ditched the headphone jack and have no stereo sound recording....
Thats bad.
