You should be more consistent in your studio photo comparisons.
In this test you compare three phones with very different ISO settings and shutter speeds. Why? iPhone ISO 100 - 1/30th vs Pixel ISO 615 - 1/33th vs S8 ISO 250 - 1/10th, really? The iPhone samples have 6 times less ISO than Pixel's 2 that makes the test unfair. Even though Pixel sharpness and artifacts are great for such a high ISO.
If you use lower shutter speeds on the iPhone because it has OIS it doesn't make sense because most of the time you're shooting moving subjects and OIS does nothing about that. You have pro modes in every phone where you can use the same settings and make a fair test. And this is not only about this test, you've been doing unfair tests like this since I know this site. You should really fix that, the reviews and the whole site is great but that is so wrong.

never liked nexuses or pixels. No replaceable batteries, no microsd, no irda, no fm radio (other phones had them all). Now no audio jack. They copy Apple's worst. Too limited phones

I can't tell in words how amazing is pixel 2 .
Just use one time phone will tell u all.
Bazzele is no issue if u want great performance in small size.i love my pixel 2.its even better than my Samsung s8.

I was waiting for this great gsmarena review and placed my order now :-) I don't get all the fuzz about the bezels, I'm sure the Pixel 3 will look a bit more like the S8.

My original Xperia X takes much better photo than pixel 2. Only condition is that you have to see it from a fans eye... from a fans eye man..

I was expecting better battery life, sony Xz1 has a slightly larger display and the same battery size but gets 88h vs 75h.
I do appreciate the camera and how they've opted for less noise reduction to preserve more detail.

Awesome phone...Till you see the limp noodle they give you instead of a 3.5 jack, phones with thinner bodies or tighter innards have the 3.5 port. On that floppy dongle, why don't they make it out of a better material like Essential with their braided cables.

I don't get it. Xperia XZ1 gets 82 hours of endurance with 2700 mAh. I thought Google would get even more, 75 hours is pretty close I guess.
Overall, really solid phone. People would love it.

Other than the camera, everything about this phone is 'meh'.
The 67% STB ratio and thick bezels are yawn-inducing. The lack of crucial stuff like the 3.5mm headphone jack, SD card slot don't inspire confidence either. Not to mention the numerous reported bugs.
The iPhone X scores in the benchmark is what piqued my interest the most.

What would be the best alternative for this phone? I wish to buy Pixel 2 XL but the complaints on its screen kinda bother me. Really love the software but if I were to pay for such price, I expect less issue on its hardware. Anyone?

Pixel's camera sways me from OnePlus!
Web browsing time best describes real battery life on my use case, and so this phone sounds solid.
Getting rid of headphone jack is completely wrong direction though. what we got instead… nada
