Lackluster phone. Nothing special. No amoled. No 18:9 screen. Mediocre camera. Small battery with below average battery life. Sd630 is OK nothing great. Overpriced.

Finger print scanner awkward ... moreWho said fingerprint position is akward? Who said average performance? And who the BLOODY HELL said bad loudspeaker?!!!
First and foremost, Nokia 6 (2017) has 430 chipset which is 60% inefficient compared to a 630 chipet.
Second and foremost, the fingerprint position sits nicely below the camera. I mean for me, I don't find any issue at all on my Nokia 6.1 compared to my Nokia 6 (2017).
Third and foremost, their camera is slightly improved. But that doesn't mean the Nokia 6.1 has the same image/video (1080p) quality compared to the Nokia 6 (2017). And lastly their speakers sounds better than the Nokia 6 (2017) even though the Nokia 6 (2017) has Dolby Atmos double firing speaker.

Plus you're very wrong about the software facts bcos most of the people don't have time and knowledge to find and install custom software. You really don't have to go through so much trouble to be up to date with latest features when you can buy an android one phone. And it matters, may be not for you but it matter for many people...

Believe me or not, my 3310 is still alive and used as my text and call communication device while my A8 2018 for social media and gaming purposes.

That Zeiss branding is good for show only it seems. Cause, look at those lens flares! I've had Zeiss branded Lumias that had very little lens flares in their images. What a letdown from a company that was once considered a leader of smartphone photography.

... moreA lot many people care about updates because that keeps your phone secure and snappy because it is running the latest software.Just because your Redmi doesnt get these updates mean that you start criticizing the factor that makes apple popular is that you get 5 years of updates which is not the case for Android.These updates are a great factor and you should keep your hate up to yourself.
This phone's camera is not that bad and look at the selfie one and the daylight shots which are great.What else is lacking in the hardware??
And please..learn to type properly.

GSMARENA - You say its the 'same' 16mp camera but look at your own photo comparison tool for gods sake. The Nokia 6 2018 has a worse camera in low light!

Nokia keeps the camera upgrade for next iteration. Since the new 6 had already got many upgrades.
Very good for what it offers.

Mr Bluesman, 25 Apr 2018Loved the fancy style and good overall camera performance, ... moreAgree. Nice comments. One camera is why I liked the Pixels too. Simple, clean and performs well. The Nokia 6 is a good midrange and the body looks really good. The straight sides and chamfered edges seems a nice touch too. All that said, Nokia Sirocco is a power pocket size at 140mm with a 5.5 screen. Cant wait to see what comes up in the market come October.
