great phone
amazing camera and build quality
but 800$ ??? HTC cant do this.. please reduce it for 200$ or more !

800$ phone (i like the look and design though) but am i the only one noticed a gap around the edges like the back cover isn't properly placed? like it didn't properly sandwiched left some space in between. Leave the interesting look aside is there any reason to buy this brick over flagships galaxys and huaweis? they have better camera and performance with better battery life to backup and similarly priced.
I still believe HTC should stop making mobiles and leave it to the experts. I would love to wear HTC socks for my shoes that should change colors as i slide my finger over it and should charge as i walk finally water/smell proof would be an added bonus.

Plus I am a heavy custom ROMer, currently running Carbon Oreo 8.1 on an old Z2, and 8.1 Oreo AOSIP on a Nexus 6. The U11+ is because of project treble support, and the note 8 mainly because of porting features from newer phones, S9, Note 10, etc
Not all of us are completely swayed by fads and design trends

Tried the HTC U12+ at Taiwan recently. This phone is one of the most beautiful flagships of the year.
The only thing questionable is why a much smaller battery than U11+, no wireless charging and dual front facing cameras for fake bokeh instead of one with wide angle.

It'll be good then for Mate 10.Since Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro share the same chipset as P20 Pro, some of NPU dependent tasks (i.e. what Huawei calls "AI" camera functions) are coming to them. For instance, some Mate 10 Pro users in Japan are now receiving an update which adds the handheld night mode of the P20 series.

Not even close.
The p20 is ok, but it's not as good as the Pro.
If you buy the p20 instead of the pro then you must be the type of person who'd buy a cayman to save a few quid instead of getting the 911
The pro is miles ahead, the only thing they have in common with the camera is the slow mo and the selfie.
Everything else is a different size lens, different amounts of lens'

How can the battery size not be a con?
Was going to get this device but the battery size vs screen killed it for me, i opted for the p20 pro instead.

all the reviews concerning devices with 845 on board, have proven to be reviewed with a much lower battery life than those that had 835 on board despite the fact that it is said that 845 has a much better power management efficiency....
