HTC confirmed that the transparent version really is not transparent- the components showing through is just an artistic representation and not really the insides.

Camera quality same as P20 pro, apart not having 3x and 5x hybrid zoom, 40mp photo, price is more reasonable. The weakness part of Mate 10 series camera is, u cant turn off the AI scene detection, whereas in P20 series u can.

Is HTC really trying? that battery life. I have U11 btw, which is not great battery life but good enough with dual sim activated. I guess my next phone is Huawei then, stil undecided wether p20 pro or mate 10 pro.

HTC's old display tech must be preventing their phones from getting above average battery life. Most flagships today can achieve 10+hrs on browsing and video tests of GSMa.

...bezelled phones are over. Samsung achieves high bts ratio using a gimmick and has bezels where it matters. If you want the future see vivo nex and oppo find x like designs...
Huawei p20's cameras...
Sad that non chinese companies are so left behind by now. Those bezeled phones seem straight from last century. Low effort, low quality... begone HTC. Just die already...

and also has display with ... moreI mean regular Mate 10. It's 5.9" 16:9 QHD LCD.

htc brand is generally good...but since release a flagship like this... well screen is poor when it comes to brightness and color accuracy is off and the not so great battery life with this asking price....well no wonder htc is failing...its a shame cuz they need a hit..n this feels like more a miss than a hit....its a good lookin phone tho

Still running my M9 but the battery is finally beginning to give out so was waiting to see if the 12+ would be worth getting. from what i've seen i'd rather get the 11 the trend for these large phones makes no sense to me as it increases the chance of them falling out of pockets. and the 11 is large enough, what i find kind of funny is the packaging is identical to the 11 and so is the contents. i'll save myself some cash and get the 11 for 450.

How come the battery life is poor in such a wonderful device? I hope this is not the final version of the device. :( ... I was actually wanting to buy it soon because I love HTC Smartphones.
