Nokia 5.1 Plus review

8 Oct 2018
The Nokia 7.1 may have a dual camera and a tall-aspect screen like the Nokia 7 Plus, but otherwise, the new phone is a thorough update of its predecessor. It adds a faster processor, a bigger HDR-capable PureDisplay, better cameras, better build, modern design while retaining the reasonable price, the wide availability, and the Android One experience.

From the front, the Nokia 5.1 Plus looks like a modern 2018 smartphone, with its thin bezels and a rather large notch up top. The notch design is curious; it's actually bigger than the one on the Nokia 6.1 Plus but there's no good reason for it. The camera and all the sensors sit on the left side of the earpiece and the area to the right of the earpiece is completely blank. The notch is at least twice as wide as it needs to be, and that means you just get less space for your notifications

        "worst phone ever"".
its display is not working after one month use and neither nokia nor flipkart is ready to solve it. Nokia service centre is charging Rs4500 for its display. Are you nokia people out of your mind. this piece of shit already cost me Rs10,999 and now you are even charging me more..
Biggest mistake if anyone would go for Nokia.

Nokia will again face "Goodwill loss"

The mobile which they delivered was fault & the customer support was too bad. Their support was unethical. Please don't go for a shot. From the day I received mobile I'm facing microphone issue, still it continuous. So I wouldn't recommend Nokia 5.1 Plus due to customer support and faulty issues with the new one.

shakib_bangladesh, 09 Oct 2018bad specs. processor mtk. lolP60 on 5.1 Plus is better than SD636 on 6.1 Plus and 7.1.
                          Nokia downclocked it.

They saw on chineese versions that X5 was much faster than X6 and decided to reduce differences on international versions.

Notebookcheck include a pretty comprehensive list of considerations and tests: even a cycle ride to test Gps and very importantly, they state how much user available memory.

It is understandable that they do not have much will to analyze another clone of Nokia. It's like getting to analyze another grain of sand in the middle of the desert and one of the vulgar ones.

It's a fine phone, I am using iPhone 6s but it is much better than that. So the expert who commented on Nokia Logo in front and other Cons is a great fool. It is really a great phone in this segment. And 1 thing more it is offering type C port and cable which is first in this range. It has inbuilt print options which is only find in iPhone. So I think it is the best phone anyone can buy even within 20000 . Heads up to Nokia and HMD Global
