Using Moto G4 Play till now. It isn't powerful but it's software is lightweight. It works good. Will wait for Moto G7 Plus. After some reviews and price checking I may upgrade.

Moto has finally brought a set of cameras that take crystal sharp images, though very artificial. And I feel like the G7 should be scrapped from the lineup, as it should never be more expensive than the Power variant.

Motorla.... Its been going down for some time now.

Now it has phone levels... within its phone levels...

          Z and its variants.
          G and its variants
          E and its variants...

If they just stick to those three and make real phones and not phonies.... it could be called again an important player. Not anymore

George, 09 Feb 2019You haven't even tried it out and complain. Shut up, try it... moreI'm not going to waste my money in something that i clearly see overpriced and less if it doesn't have the features i'm looking for. And less when the MWC is at the end of this month with better alternatives being released. I'm not as fool to not wait a compare the models released from several brands.

Finally, to repeat your dogma like a parrot, doesn't make it truth or real. It's your belief, so be happy with it. Others have their eyes wide open and see reality. You are not going to change their opinion or convince them with your preaching. And all those brands you talk shit about them, their phones have the same components inside, and mainly came from the same manufacturers, so at the end, you're buying more of the same but more expensive. But losing additional features and with and old cloned design.

I own the G7, one od the early adopters and it runs so fast and smooth. Any Xiaomi and other subpar brand phone in this price range has garbage copycat design, materials or software.
They've sold 80 million G6 last year, these will probably sell like hot cakes too.
Lenovo is the number one computer maker in the world, they bought part of IBM and the germans from Medion. They have devices for everyone and have been around for much more than Xiaomi, Meizu, Oppo and all these others.
If you don't like it, don't buy it,, you'll make someone that wants it a favor.

Hmmmm down Moto goes, what a shame...

The SAR is measured by the local regulators so any device officially authorized to be sold will not have a SAR higher than the limits entablished by the authorities.

On the other hand Motorola put premium price in its range for their phones but are as chinese as Lenovo. But without the Lenovo technology. So perhaps, those G7 phones are the ones with the cheapest hardware but with a high price, so the clear feeling is that are overpriced as many people have expressed here.

Guys, remember no one is forcing you to buy this phone so stop complaining and whining and comparing this to any cheap and sub standard phones that will fry your head with a higher SAR value. If you want to have a phone that is way cheaper than this with a sub standard quality then go for it, Motorola will not force you to give your money or else they offer phones with high standards plus a phone that will last. Honestly I still have the moto G2, G3 and G4 Plus and moto x, x2, x3, moto z, z2 and moto x 4 and still working as new and second I don't bash any brands by their copycat design (U.I or launcher) I just keep my mouth shut to respect their mindset.

"Moto G7 proper should offer largely the same user experience minus a few MP and fps at a slighly lower price."

G7 is just a mistake, sucks with Full HD!

... of course reviewers always getting the top versions to check phones capabilities.

Moto is at least one year to late.

                          G7 Plus specs is a Zenfone 5 (ZE620KL) copycat (announced Feb 2018),
                          only small changes,
but ZF 5 has still better design, main camera and so on ....
not as heavy even w/ bigger 3300mAh battery.
                          best price about € 250

I've been to the launch event in Spain, they mentioned that. These phones run incredibly fast. They have all the Google pixel gestures and are also optimized for the Pixel 3 camera app.
Motorola also has the lowest percentage of failing rate out of similar priced smartphones from all the other brands.

It seems that there is place for two sims and an micro SD card, and that's a selling point for some. Also the camera looks good in the Plus version.

I recommend the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro over any of these Motorola phones or, for a bit more money, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1, which I just got yesterday. Amazing value for money.
