Does it support macro shots? Do you need autofocus on wide angle to take macro shots?

Kudos to Samsung for creating such beautiful phones that have practically no major compromise in feature set. I should also praise them for sticking to what they already had instead of trying out stupid ideas like putting a speaker on a charging port unlike some other companies, and yes, they kept the good old headphone jack! S10 is easily on the top in the list of phones I might buy this year. The reverse wireless charging sounds pretty cool too, though I wonder how much battery it will drain by using this feature as its power output is relatively high at 4.5W.
However, I gotta say that the cameras, the feature I care about the most, are quite underwhelming. Those low light samples look miserable with very pronounced corner softness and strong HDR artifacts, no details left on the floor tiles. Apart from the additional ultra wide angle lens it's essentially the same camera setup as last year's S9, no doubt that P30 Pro's quad cameras will trounce it with ease. Anyway I'll wait for in-depth reviews to come out to see if it's really worth getting one for myself.

How about you guys stop paying too much attention to the camera for every new phone and focus on what is important.

Android phones, no matter what the brand is, are always better year by year. So, it depend on whether you would like to spend your money for phone every year or you skip the currrent phone for 2-5 or even 10 year. Samsung S10 family is surely better (sorry, I am not Samsung fan or paid by Samsung to say, I just admit it, Samsung is still a rival of iPhone head to head, so it must be good)

The punch hole camera turns me off on this new S10s. I rather see bezels than punch hole or notch.

Meh nothing new. One UI seems good but covered with cartoonish icon. S10e looks good to me as its compact & flat screen. Dont mind the holes, embrace the future.
Now eagerly waiting for Huawei P30 series.

Ugh, that green color is gorgeous, and it's not coming to the US! As a female, I'd rather have the green than that orange-looking pink.

I dont understand why someone would spend around 1k on a phone just to flaunt and feed their ego, keep your 6s or get a budget android and get an ipad pro or even better, the budget ipad 9.7 - donate the rest to the poor or just buy something for your family or loved ones.

Do you always have to wake up the phone with the power button to be able to use the fingerprint reader. In de video review i saw this happening. I hope that's not the case?

Anonymous, 20 Feb 2019Cam has been improved 5%.
Same wrong WB ( warm tones), ... moreAnd Samsung made you the first person in the world to test them?
Wait for the reviews to come in. All the sensors are new and the processing seems to have improved vastly. And with new neuro engines the dynamic range and low have obviously gone up. The question would be, how much have the new imaging sensors by themselves contributed to this? Also the ISPs and neuro engineers? And obviously computational photography.
Plus HDR10+ is HUGE. Sony was the first smartphone shooting true 4k HDR (in 10-bit). Samsung will be joining that exclusive club.

(5G) "Another ToF camera (...) on the front, replacing the 8MP secondary snapper of the Galaxy S10+..."
I think I see three cameras there: 10Mp + ToF + 8Mp. So, not replacing.
