Anonymous, 28 Feb 2019So did this beat the Mate 20 pro camera quality or not ? I have Mate 20 Pro and I have compared it with S10 at the mall fir 2 hours.
Mate 20 Pro - better zoom, much better night mode, sharper image, real life colours
S10 - much better video ( both rear camera and selfie one), wider camera ( the ultrawide one), more vivid colours, better dinamic range

Why didn't you include S9/S9+ in benchmarking of SoC. You have one of the best reviews out there. Please improve this in your review.

1) pe... more1. He does use a tool to determine the brightness, all have the same brightness.
2. That just something that comes with the phone
3. Sceeen resolution is the same for all phones, Afcourse the battery isn't the same that the hole point here, bigger battery is better for battery life.
The rest i wont even answer. The thing is this phone has great battery life with pretty close real life using.
You didn't even what the video.

No bad, screen is butchered in a way I find disgusting, but the rest of the phone seems like a proper flagship.
Can't find in a review - DeX - any changes? 4K support? 4K recording time limit? etc.

Lol, this is sooo seriously in here.
Most phones today have enough specs to satisfied most people.
But fighting about 1 pixel or 10mah cmon its ridiculously.
If u not agree with this review and others to, so be it.
Its a phone, its not a threat about one of your family members.

Pre-ordered the s10 for around 700 dollars (50000 rupees) back here in India (dont ask how). I thing s10 for this price is a steal...My only concern is the battery life of the smaller version compared to the plus version....in my opinion the test conducted by gsmarena of the plus model might be a little flawed as all the other websites have shown otherwise..but the battery life of the smaller one is still a variable....Dont know why nobody is reviewing the smaller version ...hell I can even sell this phone after 1 to 1.5 years for a loss of aroung just 150-200 dollars as the prices dont go downhill as fast as in US here..

1) person never uses tool to make sure all have same brightness.
2) phones wont play games exactly at same FPS, less FPS spends less battery
3) phones have different screen ratios, battery size and screen resolutions
4) nobody during the day uses only youtube , games and video recording
5) phones dont have same internet connectivity even using same modem and same wifi, weaker connections spend more power

At 0:36 you can clearly see that Mate 20 Pro's display is brighter than S10+'s as well, which means if you set the brightness exactly the same you might even get slightly worse battery life on S10+ as GSMArena's objective battery test suggests.
