Samsung Galaxy S10e review

The Samsung Galaxy S10e is like a breath of fresh air in a world of behemoth smartphones with enormous displays. To be honest, we didn’t expect Samsung or any other manufacturer for that matter to release a compact flagship. Especially since even Sony dropped their compact lineup. But here it is - a small flagship phone for a little less than you’d expect from a normal flagship these days.

    Lol. Iphone xr has a better battery than the s10e? Really? Darn these tests must completely differ to those done on youtube then. In what videos I saw about comparing the s10e to most popular flagship devices, inclusive the iphone xs max, the galaxy 10e WON. And from what I remember the xr is always the worst in thsese tests ( even if the battery life is average ) Maybe the on screen battery life is just much better compared to standby and talk time compared to other phones, or the snapdragon version is that much battery efficient?

          how about sunlight contrast ratio ?

            I miss the old sunlight contrast ratio chart. Seems like GSMArena is removing features one by one.

            If someone from the team is reading this, tech enthusiasts really don't like the current direction this website is taking. We need in-depth reviews with charts so that we can easily compare and visualize differences with other phones.

            We also need a head-to-head comparison, something along the lines of Galaxy S4 vs HTC One from the olden-golden days.

              Though I dislike this phone because of its UI, I agree its screen is excellent, Samsung really have advantages in display.

                          Screen of s6 edge+ has more area.
                          It also has older cpu and 3000 mAh.
                          With android 5 it scored 83h.

                          So there was no development.

                            It looks like the Exynos S10 series also suffers from poor battery performance. Just like the S8 and S9 Exynos. The last time Exynos was better than the Snapdragon for the Galaxy S series was with the S7.

                              1) it's surprisingly slow to charge
                              2) there's a settings option to disable fast charging

                              I assume you didn't mistakenly test the charging speed with fast charging disabled, so I wonder if there is a bug that means it is never enabled whichever setting you choose.

                                  Wanna know why Samsung will never have quick charging as fast as the competitors? They're scared of the many factors that led to the Note 7 fiasco. Extremely fast charging is one of the key reasons why Note 7 had a catastrophic battery failure.

                                        Martin, 19 Mar 201983h is low with FHD Dispaly. OTHER better score. Unimpressive for sure.
