VectorR, 28 Apr 2019There is NO workaround for improper positioned Volume Down ... more"improper positioned Volume Down and Power buttons"
Sorry but I literally bursted out laughing when I read this part. Never accidentally triggered screenshot, never heard of people doing that either apart from you. Like seriously, what kind of complaint is that? How about improperly large and obstructing notch that doesn't serve any purpose on Pixel 3 XL then? As well as equally thick chin? Did Google fix the double notch bug as well? And at least you have an accurate and secure facial recognition on Mate 20 Pro just in case when its FPS is not reliable enough, but you surely didn't want to mention it because you were trying to take a piss on Huawei. Pixel has no workaround for its single camera setup, but Google thought there's "no need" for having two cameras because they reckoned that software processing can completely overcome the hardware advantage. What a joke.
Go ahead and sell your Mate 20 Pro if you actually own one, nobody's forcing you to keep it if you don't like it. Meanwhile I'll enjoy my P30 and S10, thank you ;)

Nick Tagataka, 28 Apr 2019"No single bug since day one"
It's good to hear that you'r... moreThere is NO workaround for improper positioned Volume Down and Power buttons which leads to numerous accidental screenshots in my gallery on Mate 20 Pro. Neither workaround for sub-bar "stereo" speakers nor for non-functional, pissing off in-screen fingerprint sensor. The worst "flagship" phone I've ever had. Selling this crap now.
Enjoy you flawless Huawei :).

VectorR, 28 Apr 2019I have Google Pixel 3 for half a year already. I has the be... more"No single bug since day one"
It's good to hear that you're having no issue whatsoever unlike other unfortunate Pixel users who suffered from random bugs and glitches. The difference between a bug on Huawei and Google's software is that the former is common across all Huawei phones running on the same OS version, so while it has some annoying quirks most of the time there are workaround for each of them(such as notification and aggressive RAM management), whereas the latter is more unpredictable and usually you can't do anything about it until they push out the update to fix it. So for instance, some units of Pixel get a sudden UI slowdown like MKBHD did, but others don't have the same issue. I changed a few settings after I got my P30 and so far I haven't faced any problems on it, and minor bugs like Youtube scrolling lag have been ironed out with the latest software update.
"Earpiece is apparently worse on Mate as well"
I was talking about P30 Pro here, not Mate 20 Pro. P30 Pro doesn't even have a earpiece in the first place as it vibrates the display to emit sound which according to many reviewers works flawlessly and offers excellent call quality.
It's kind of funny that you claim that you're "tired to fight with Huawei fanboys" yet you just posted three comments hating on Huawei consecutively, as if you want to start a war with Huawei fans. Anyway I probably shouldn't bother you, bye.

Anonymous, 16 Apr 2019Oh you mean that buggy OS called stock, which has new groun... moreComplete rubbish! Obviously you never owned Pixel 3 / 3 XL if you talking this s***. Buy it first and THEN start talking about bugs and notches! P30 is exactly just a phone with good camera and mediocre, sub-bar everything else. The only thing Pixel 3 is missing is camera versatility. Otherwise it is unbeatable! P30 reminds me an inflated peacock in front of American Eagle. :). Anyway, NO wireless charging, NO stereo speakers = NO buy!

vrvly, 15 Apr 2019Well it's not just camera they updated, but considering the... moreNo Huawei flagship phone worth its price. Overpriced rubbish compared to Galaxy S10, iPhone Xs and Google Pixel XL. Camera versatility itself is not good enough.Photos quality and consistency is also very important which Huawei is missing.

Nick Tagataka, 15 Apr 2019Uhh, I'm not quite sure about the user experience being bet... moreI have Google Pixel 3 for half a year already. I has the best Android OS indeed in all terms. No single bug since day one. Huawei will never reach this level and they seems not even try. They just don't really care about good user experience which, perhaps, coincides with approach of communist party to their own people. Also I have Huawei Mate 20 Pro for the last 2 month and I cad give you the list of my complains with at least 12 bullet points with it. Mate 20 Pro speakers are just rubbish compared to small and now cheaper Pixel 3. Earpiece is apparently worse on Mate as well. I clearly hear it. I can continue but just tired to fight with Huawei fanboys.

NEONE, 21 Apr 2019Yes, this is pretty much what i thought. Thanks. If you like to take photos at night then P30 is undoubtedly the better choice for you. In daylight, nowadays all flagship smartphones perform very similarly so Mi 9 should do just fine. By the way P30 also has IP53 splash resistance, which might be good to have if you find yourself using your phone in a rain/with wet hands often.

Nick Tagataka, 18 Apr 2019P30 is better in both unless you play games on your phone..... moreNot playing games.
Yes, it is more expensive and this is why I asked as the mi 9 got excellent rate in dxomark and p30 was not tested.
Regarding the camera, I'm talking about use it like a mostly "regular" user... Most of the time using it in auto mode. Point and shoot and not using it in manual mode or something sofisticated.
