          The reviewer claims that using the gesture navigation mode (instead of 3 buttons), quick jump between 2 apps is not possible. In all other Samsung Pie phones I've tested (S10 series, A70), that is not true. As long as gesture hints is turned on, a quick right swipe of the center line quickly jumps between last 2 apps. Equivalent to right swipe of the pill on stock Android Pie. It would surprise me if this wasn't also on the A40.

              I think the only good about this phone is the size and the screen.. While everything is just bad.. Like seriously.. Samsung has gone back to its old root after a50 came out.. Gosh why Samsung always forgetful

                            If whole S10's family front looked like this, I'd get it right away :D. Small notch in the center, compact size and flat screen - perfect :)

                              Compared to my A5 2017, it does not have water ingress protection - however the display more than makes for it - it's beautiful with almost no dead space around its edges. It's especially impressive when using fullscreen apps (maps etc...). It makes the A5 2017 look ancient.

                                  Jun1250, 30 Apr 2019I think this is the successor of the Galaxy A5 from 2016/20... moreThe a8 2018 was the successor to the a5 2017 and that had a glass and metal build with ip68. I imagine A50 is the successor to the a8. A40 maybe follow up to the a3 2017 as it's the only compact a series phone. I to disappointed with the regression to plastic bodies and no ip68.
