OnePlus 7 Pro review

14 May 2019
OnePlus has always sort of been a niche enthusiast's smartphone brand which may not be as popular as the majors, but it's carved a pretty nice niche for itself by delivering great smartphone hardware at equally great price points.

Anonymous, 16 May 2019Alot of jealous fanboy haters on here.... If you dont like ... moreThe only thing ruining the pro for me is that awful edge/infinity display. Had it been flat it would've been pretty awesome.

Sadly the non-pro, which is flat, is ruined by notch and lacking both ultrawide and telephoto lens. it only has a depth sensor in addition to main. The most annoying second sensor and not worth adding at all.

Anonymous, 16 May 2019Have owned 2 Xiaomi phones , MUI is rubbish and filled with... moreNo ads in any of the four Xiaomi phones we have in our house (Note 4, Max, A2 and Mi Mix 3). The oldest are doing quite well and survived countless falls into concrete and tiles.

I guess we're not as incompetent as you, but anyways good luck finding a phone for your strange way of using a phone, perhaps the "Force" models from Motorola? They are pretty unbreakable without looking ugly :-)

Price is excellent price for all those features. Go pay 1000+ just for useless wireless charging, loose the amazing screen , fast memory memory , best Android skin , good speakers ect in the meantime.... some people will cry about anything these days.....

Modest Mind, 15 May 20196.67"? Simply too big! If I want a device of this size then... moreYou talking about SAR and radiation then you go back again to 2015 with your SD card excuse that $700 flagship doesn’t need an SD card anymore since android phones supports OTG and coming with 128GB internal storage out of the box this days lol. Samsung keeps the headphone jack and SD card to sell well since Galaxy’s phone doesn’t doing well since S8, I dare Samsung to remove these dead features and compete like a champ with Chinese OEM’s.

At $300-400 USD this phone is a game changer. At $700-800 it is just another overpriced flagship that will sell a few million units at best.

these phone companies keep making 'flagships' that lack features 'feature phones' from two decades ago had as a standard and then wonder why the market is sliding down

Kunal Raj, 15 May 2019Oneplus, your phones are good but your prices are becoming ... morei Have no clue what u are going on about. Considering just the fact that phones alternatives are £850+ and this phone is coming in at £649 makes it a great deal. Yes it doesn’t have an SD card slot but with faster memory and much high memory options than the mi9 that you keep talking about. Also IP certification would cause a price hike and let’s face it, the phone is sealed shut, a accidental drop in water or abit of rain won’t do it any harm (and don’t say you can fully submerge it coz no one actually does that in real life). Also wireless charging is good and all but being able to get 50% battery from 20mins on the wired charger is much better for me (we all have preferences but I prefer the phone to be charged quicker even if it is at the sacrifice of wirelessly charging it. Yes the camera isn’t as good as the alternatives but most of the problems with the main camera is software so it’s just the wide angle camera that’s not as good as wanted. So let’s look at this, the phone has an amazing display, ok battery life, decent camera, stereo speakers, stupidly fast wired charging, fastest memory on a phone so far and up to 12gb of ram is you really need it (which let’s face it, you don’t) in a amazing designed phone. Mi9 might be cheaper but which worse display, a notch, slower charging, slower lower capacity memory, less ram in a less attractive looking phone. I know what my money would be on.
