Anonymous, 16 May 2019Are you kidding me. Amoled is better. there is no question ... moreoled screens develop greenish tint overtime (in as short as a few months) so that whites become yellowish whites when you compare it to properly calibrated lcd screens. that's the unavoidable fact with all oleds.

LCD :\, 17 May 2019Didn't test nits? Screen brightness is my main concernThe brightness can reach 600 nits.

Asus phone that does not suck at a first glance?!?
Me surprised, me very surprised and shocked TBH :)
Decent Asus phone, imagine that ... we certainly live in interesting times.

            No IP67/68 rating?

Could someone please tell me if this new Asus Zenfone 6 will be available in the USA in May, 2019? I'm confused. I want to buy it but I can't find information about it being sold in the U.S or not. Thanks!

                Best camera for selfies.

Very interesting phone from Asus. Probably won't use Face Unlock since it would be detrimental to its' 100k durability.

Near-stock Android is huge plus, USB-C, Fingerprint unlock... Looks great.

                  Definitely looking forward to this.

Love the camera design... very innovative, with software almost stock android (very good, know own weakness).. pricing also very good....thumbs up for ASUS

Why no zoom samples? A main purpose of the Imx 586 is better digital zoom!

Just need more camera samples and comparison with Pixel phones thereof.

I like this better than the OP7 Pro but ASUS missed an opportunity for a 90-120Hz LCD display. Zenfones still a bit pricey, I'd pay $400 for this.

Jojo, 16 May 2019LCD screen+big bezels and chine-no IP= PassNice pass , you should play rugby or run relay races

Pass it in the hands of those lovers of mature LCD technology and we will run to the finish line

Now PWM from oled and no messed up color accuracy due to blue subpixels dying quickly

This is perfect. Like others has said, this got everything on it that I want, save for Amoled screen perhaps but I'm willing to cut some slack due to the price. The big battery probably the biggest on flagship phone this year too, I'm so excited.

If there's one thing I could complain is probably the design. It has... a retro look like 2015 phones or something. Looking at the pictures of this and OP7 Pro side by side feels rather sad for this phone.

Should I replace my HTC U11+ with it?

The only downside that I can think of at this stage is the screen quality is still not quad hd and not LED. Apart from that a great flagship
